The Harris Poll asked “Who is your favorite TV personality? Bill O’Reilly came in at #3 overall and #1 among men…
Once again, The Harris Poll(R) has asked U.S. adults “Who is your favorite TV personality?” and for the fifth year in a row, Oprah Winfrey lands in the number one position as America’s favorite television personality. Jon Stewart is in second place for the second year, while Bill O’Reilly moves up one notch to third place. Next is a newcomer to the list — Hugh Laurie (star of the television show, “House”), who debuts in fourth place, while veteran late night host David Letterman drops from number three to fifth place. Letterman’s rival, Jay Leno, is number six on the list (dropping from 2005 when he was tied for fourth place).
He’s also numero uno among Conservatives, and older people over the age of 61.

Interesting poll. Am disappointed I could not see the names of my favorites like Olbermann, Matthews and Scarborough. Oh well, they may make the next poll in another 20 years. Who knows? Maybe they can make the footnotes, at least!

Interesting that O’Reilly placed higher than Letterman. I wonder how Dave would feel about that. I guess being the “Worst Person in the World” 150 times counts for something. KO must be near suicidal right now.

Bill O’Reilly is my Hero!!! Congrats Bill!! He is number 1 in my book too.
Pete, I’m a 40 year old FEMALE and he has been number 1 to me since I started watching him in 2002. I was 35-36 years old then. Pete please do not try to put everyone into just one box. ;)

Bill O’Reilly is my hero too! He goes after criminals, and the politicians and judges who are not doing their jobs to protect our society.
MSNBC, OTOH, is going after Bill O’Reilly. So who serves the bigger purpose here?
