Sam - FNC feeding raw meat to their desperate devotees. Alas, it was Faux raw meat - tofu, even.
Comment by Arthur — January 23, 2007 @ 6:39 pm
Arthur, aren’t you the one who yelled at my colleagues on the right last week for using the terms “Doberman”, “Olderman”, etc.? Now you’re posting things about “Faux” News?
Comment by Missy — January 23, 2007 @ 6:42 pm
Actually, Missy, I said not a thing about Faux news, I’m using ‘faux’ in its literal sense: “artificial or imitation; fake”. The raw meat FOX tried to create for their starved viewers was, alas, FAUX meat.

OK then Arthur!

Obrien and Obrien work for me. I prefer news and info versus talk radio on tv. I can get that on my car radio on my way to work. Why not use the TV for what it was designed for, using pictures to help tell the story.

Has CNN considered dumping (anti) American Morning and its abysmal ratings and replacing it with Glenn Beck in the morning?
Comment by Tom — January 24, 2007 @ 1:09 am
Tom thats not a bad idea for Glenn. No worries driving in from Conn. at that hour. And then CNN could do the morning show from Radio City, where he does his radio show. But he would have to have a co-host. Thats a problem!

Puck and Tom. Programming isn’t about who you’d like to see, but who will actually work or catch on in the different time slots. Glenn Beck, while his numbers are improving has yet to post strong enough numbers to get that time slot on CNN. Plus some of his consrvative fans may become split between him and F&F.
