I was actually watching Imus (first time in a LONG time), and they had a split screen: Imus on half; Anna Nicole’s funeral cortege on the other. He was b*tching up a storm about that. Maybe they were afraid to cut in, but let’s hope that wasn’t the reason. They should have bailed out of both Anna Nicole and Imus!

Did Imus know about the bus accident? You’d think Charles would have said something. If Imus knew, he should have TOLD them to bail on him.

Wow… that’s a big time difference between CNN / FOX and MSNBC. Over a half-hour… wow. I wonder what was the hold up.

The hold up was Imus. They are all a-skiier-d (scared) of him.

I have seen a lot of comments from car drivers. None from actual bus drivers of which i am. most comments say the intersection is confusing for local people yet a coach driver is expected to know all of the roads everywhere as if he or she is a local person. NOT POSSIBLE. Next issue is it does happen in some urban areas to avoid congestion thru traffic is ellivated above local trafic which is what some think the driver might have thought trying to maintain speed to merge in with traffic at top of ramp. Another issue is that an HOV lane only permits cars and buses because of heavly occupied vehicle status, if the sinage is based for most vehicles (cars) then a bus driver who sits drasticly higher may not see the same sinage as a car driver. Poor lighting and poor sinage can certanily contribute to such an accident. Another possibility is the driver may have had a sudden health issue with no warning enen though he would had to pass a DOT PHYSICAL before a motor coach, something RV drivers of the same size do not have to pass such a physical. My prayers go out for to all who are afffected by this tragedy. Bruce
