FNC commits to thirteen episodes of “1/2 Hour”…

FNC announced that it had committed to thirteen episodes of “The 1/2 Hour News Hour”…

FOX News Channel (FNC) entered into an agreement to order 13 additional episodes of The ½ Hour News Hour. The show will remain in its Sunday primetime slot (10-10:30 PM/ET) with airdates to be announced in the coming weeks.

Both episodes averaged nearly 1.4 million viewers, a 72% increase over the first quarter of 2007, and 443,000 Adults 25-54, a 108% increase over the same period. In each weekend The Half Hour News Hour was presented on FNC, it was the highest-rated show on cable news.

Developed by 24 Executive Producer Joel Surnow, the 30-minute show is a satirical reflection of news issues and current events, delivered by actors Kurt Long and Jenn Robertson. Surnow serves as the show’s executive producer along with Manny Coto.

  4. fake..but it’s on a ‘news’ channel. how can it be fake? I thought fnc reported the ‘news’. What’s next, u can be a news anchor…or host, as they are called at fnc? Yea, it can be in the format as american idol. geez.
