So...... If Hannity is a baffoon with his ratings then what does that make Larry King and Joe Scarborough? It must suck to have a baffoon beat you night after night.

And while were at it......What happened to that ""FIRM"" grip somebody had on second place?

Chet, Hannity is not a Republican Strategist. He is just a baffoon. Its Jane Fleming's job to always defend the party.

Has that genius from the Cornell Alumni Magazine issued a correction yet for his comical and bogus claim that Olbermann has a lock on "second" place?

Yes Ira I was watching it on H&C.. I thought Bush was pretty funny... anyways, I can't stand Jane Fleming (the dem. strategist on FOX).. she cant ever criticize dems on the most obvious things

Chet: Although we don't have the ratings by quarter-hour, I'll bet Hannity and Colmes was much higher in the final 30 minutes, after American Idol and also during President Bush's comedy routine at the Radio and TV Correspondents' Dinner.

Last night Joe Scarborough had a "Special" with Dateline. No politics. He still had good numbers (for his show). I have often slammed Joe for the fact that he does not represent the views of the "Redneck Riviera" of the Gulf Coast (his home). Why, because the people are heavy right and Joe is not. However, I think Joe is at his best with topics other that politics. He is doing more and more variety and he really shines, smiles and genuinely seems to enjoy himself. He is more of a showman at heart and I think he is trying to create his own style show with a lot less politics.

Arthur means the ratio of demo over total, ie, demo divided by total. It's greater than 1/2(50%), which is pretty darn good.
If Arthur told his girlfriend that he's got 50%, when she's used to somewhere between 10% and 25%, she would be pretty happy.

Despite competing with the American Idol results show in most of the USA, a better than average night for Hannity and Colmes; nearly 2:1 over LKL.

In fact, KO more than doubled her on Tuesday in the demo. He was a little off on the demo numbers on Wednesday, but still finished in second place in total viewers.

KO was usually better in the demo than the overall, weird the older people are starting to watch, and the younger crowd are tuning out.

Jim, it appears that a number of them have just switched to the 10PM repeat. The demos for the rerun is proportionally quite large.

Well Randy, if you are happy coming in last in the demo over HLN repeatedly and having the 10pm rerun of your flagship show get crushed, by all means, be hapy.
