Daryn Kagan interview…
The Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Bill Osinski interviews Daryn Kagan about the Rising Star Documentary…
It was this aspect of the Rising Star story that attracted Kagan to the documentary project.
“I call them ‘inside-out’ stories,” Kagan said. “They’re stories that show the world what’s possible when people take bad experiences and turn them into something positive. Becky has transformed her world, and, literally, the world.”
After leaving CNN, Kagan started a Web site, www.Darynkagan.com, devoted to what she calls “inspriational news.” The Rising Star story is a prime example, she said, adding, “It’s a story about healing and helping.”

No matter what else is going on in news… across the world… or on one specific station… I can always count on ICN to get me a story or two about Daryn Kagan.
I mean, come on aready. Every other day! Does anyone care about this person? Even a little bit?!

I read about her on the tvnewser blog last week also. She’s doing what she set out to do. And she’s back on TV, and on PBS!! Impressive. Congrats, Daryn. Can’t wait to see more than the youtube trailer. You go!

Actually I do! Every other day? That’s a bit of an exaggeration.
