Okay, seriously, I like this new pairing.

The news orgs (FNC/CNN/MSNBC) are pushing propaganda by calling the “detained” UK sailors “hostages”. They were detained for trespassing in Iranian waters. Now, were they actually IN Iraqi waters? I don’t know the answer to that. But, from my understanding the area is in dispute. And I think when a journalist (for instance) is held “hostage” for a “ransom” the term is applicable.

Was it just me who spotted perhaps some tension between Bill and the Sky people… cus after Bill finished speaking with Tim Marshall from Sky News I heard on the open mic: “Yo, nuff respect to tha moody ba…..” said in an American style voice by Tim!!!

Not sure if Tim’s comments were in reference to Bill…But Bill hadnt gotten much sleep….He had flown over night and just arrived in London a couple of hours earlier…He was tired….Maybe that was what Tim was picking up if…again…his comments were in reference to Bill…

What does “Yo, nuff respect to tha moody ba…..” mean? I missed it. I only caught some of the show.

Terance, I had agreed with your viewpoint for about five days. I didnt want to prejudge anything until all the facts came out. Well now, it is my belief after the Brits came out with the GPS coordinates, that they were in Iraqi waters. I havent heard anything from the Iranian side really except that clearly phony letter. SO for five days I said they were prisoners. Now I agree that they are hostages.

It was caught by an open mic after Bill had finished interviewing Tim Marshall Sky foreign affairs editor. I am a Brit and basically it was said in an American accent and is designed to take the mick out of the American way of speaking (directed at Bill) much in the same way you’d do a posh accent for a Brit!
