Sure the NCAA basketball championship game had an effect, but what happened to Larry King Live? Olbermann had the exact same overall number.

Star Jones Reynolds was guest host and Beyonce was the guest.Enough said!

Larry wasn’t on last night, Star Jones replaced him and did an interview with Beyonce. Doesn’t suprise me his numbers slipped after all i dont think the usual LK viewer is interested in Beyonce. I’m probably the only the only person under the age of 24 who watches him.

Interesting that the total #s for LK were down quite a bit, but the demo figures were pretty good — I’m assuming most tuned in for Beyonce as opposed to Star though!

I know very few Jewish people watched Cable news last night. How many actually watch? I have no clue.
Comment by Randy — April 4, 2007 @ 2:37 am
What does that have to do with anything?
Comment by eddiebear — April 4, 2007 @ 9:00 am
I’m Jewish… and I did watch! (So did the folks)
But Randy does have a interesting point… many of us were busy with Passover Seders… but I don’t know if our population (especially in cable news) that we make a real siginifant impact on the ratings.

It all depends on the make up of who is actually part of the Nielson households.
Comment by myview — April 4, 2007 @ 9:57 am
Anybody noticing that Glenn Beck is beating Chris Matthews more and more lately, (mostly in the demo).
Comment by Obama in 08! — April 4, 2007 @ 10:54 am
ImNotBlue: The NCAA championship game had a greater effect on the ratings than Passover! (PS: I also watched!)
Comment by Ira — April 4, 2007 @ 12:03 pm
I say this, only because I missed Countdown because I was in the middle of Passover. I’d expect their to be other people who missed their show like me, and possibly one of those is a nielsen family.
