Fireworks on The Big Story…
Johnny Dollar has the video from today’s Big Story with John Gibson where Bo Dietl and Dick Morris go at it over Don Imus…
UPDATE: More Dietl comments from The Big Story…
His Reaction To CBS Firing Don Imus:
I’m in shock. The fact that what we heard was that they were going to give the two week suspension, he was going to have the opportunity to talk to these young girls and their families and something tells me it might be happening as we’re even speaking right now. What was not fair, we’re in the middle of a telethon where we raise millions of dollars for children with cancer, for the ranch and since effected people; right in the middle of the telethon, you have to blow him off like this? This is irresponsible, it’s irresponsible for CBS.
On Les Moonves And Other CBS Content:
Mr. Les Moonves you care about the quality, why don’t you care about your CBS records with all the garbage my 17 year old daughter listens to and they use this word ho-ho-ho back and forth and they degrade women all the time, where are you behind this Mr. Moonves?
On Comments Made By Imus In The Past:
If I thought that Don Imus was a racist in any part, shape or form, I wouldn’t be here today. I know what he’s all about.

After seeing this, I just lost all respect for Bo Dietl. I don’t care if Imus and Bo are friends, you don’t act like an idiot and ask someone to “come over here” to start a physical fight (especially when you are probably at least 50 years old or older). Now I can see why these two guy are friends. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

WOW!
I used to think Dick Morris was just a toe-sucking hypocrite.
But since I saw him tell Bo to ’shaddup’….I have a new found respect for toe-sucking hypocrites everywhere!

Noelle: They would not have come to blows: Morris was in Miami while Bo Dietl was in New York!
I was surprised that Morris was even on for this topic, but apparently he had not liked Imus for many years.

Don Imus gets fired for using words that clearly offended the majority of the public. Was it just? I believe it was…
HOWEVER………….
There is a ROGUE prosecutor NIFONG,in North Carolina, who blatantly stomped on civil rights of 3 INNOCENT young men, who has been brought UP on ETHIC charges with the State Bar of NC, is STILL working in the office of District Attorney. And I haven’t SEEN any public figure come out and REQUEST this man be FIRED, or call for his resignation…..
What is WRONG with this picture??

You are Just wrong. There have been people who have not only called for him to be fired, but want him to go to jail for what he has done. I dont know what you are talking about.

JSMO, I couldn’t agree more. For some reason, I’ve been watching this “Amy Holmes” on CNN all night, talking about how gracious these Rutgers girls are for agreeing to meet with Imus! What exactly were their damages, anyway? And how gracious is it for them to CONSIDER accepting his many apologies? Does the Bible give us a choice? No, we are told to forgive, as we have been forgiven!
And as you suggest, what about the Duke guys and their families, who actually DID suffer tremendous social, emotional and financial losses. And they all lost an entire year out of their lives, and lost their reputations forever! Yet they are pursuing no charges against the false accuser.
They and their restraint/class have been virtually ignored during this week as these alleged victims get all the glory.

So Dick isn’t used to being treated like that, huh. Whah, whah, whah. He should stick to political commentary. He can hold his own there. Bo ate him up and spit him out. Go Bo AND GO DON IMUS. “Let freedom ring”.

Ira, I know that they were in 2 different locations. But to have a grown man talk the way Bo did is disgusting. He acted like a child. Next time he is on I will turn the channel.
