White House Correspondents Dinner…
The White House Correspondents Dinner aired earlier tonight on C-Span. Below are some of the arrivals to the big shindig. TV people I spotted included David Gregory…who is hard to miss and the C-Span cameras kept zooming in on him all night long…sitting next to Ann Curry and, I think, Tammy Haddad, Larry King, Wolf Blitzer, John Roberts, Chris Jansing, Joe Scarborough, Maria Bartiromo, Rita Cosby, and Kelly O’Donnell. The CNN table was featured a few times. I don’t know where the FNC table(s) was but I don’t think I saw anyone from FNC aside from Greta Van Susteren.

I hope the Wh press corps was happy, because Rich Little wasnt controversial, but was god awful.

I agree - Rich Little was so bad it was embarrassing. Is it just me, or did his impression of George W. sound nothing like the current prez?

LOL! I didn’t even know Rich Little was still alive!

Should have brought back Colbert for Round two. Nobody would have laughed because of the sticks they have lodged inside of them, but it would have been great for the people at home.

Okay, I can discuss something more awful than Rich Little, who was pitiable and pathetic.
It was the gnarled gnome seated at the end of the head table,Helen Thomas. She refused to clap when the president arrived. She refused to put her hand over her heart during the playing of the national anthem. She refused to participate in the presenting of the colors.
The speakers didn’t vilify her actions, but continued to fawn over the old witch. It was disgusting.
The only thing that saved the night was the return of the elegant, graceful, polished Tony Snow.

I guess you dont realize that many Americans dont put their hand over their heart for the National Anthem. Pledge of Allegiance yes, but National Anthem, no.

President Bush and Tony Show showed real class last night in that den of vipers.

Cella, would you be in opposition to FNC replacing Alan Colmes with Helen Thomas??
Comment by Terance — April 22, 2007 @ 8:10 am
Others there from Fox were Steve Doocey and Bill Hemmer. Steve was on the phone this morning calling into F&FWeekend

Terance,
You have read me well, and know that would set me off! Yikes!

Were Fox News babes Julie Banderas and Courtney Friel at the dinner?
Comment by Tom — April 22, 2007 @ 3:42 pm
Is Courtney Friel still at Fox now Page Hopkins is hosting F&F Weekend all the time?
Comment by craig gordon — April 22, 2007 @ 6:14 pm

For god’s sake, everyone is free to do what they want and if they want to ignore some regular standard, so be it, I perfer not to say “under god” on the daily pledge.

I think Friel is doing a good bit of stuff for Foxnews.com. I’d have no problem seeing more of her on air though.

Rich Little should have stuck with his Nixon impersonation… With her new “tell all” book coming out, who invited Rita Cosby to sit with them?
Comment by Bill — April 23, 2007 @ 8:30 am
Hey Mike aren’t you my stalker who has to follow me all over the internet just to make idiotic comments about what I say? You’re praising Bush? Tinhat a tad snug is it? You love Karl Rove right? You are a nutjob.

craig: Courtney Friel was on the panel of “Red Eye” last Friday night.
The on-screen graphic always links her to Foxnews.com, yet when I last searched I couldn’t find any articles from her.
