Tuesday’s Numbers…
Is the departure of Imus affecting MSNBC in the daytime Demo? HLN beat MSNBC again in the daytime Demo. It also beat it in the primetime Demo. The Virginia Tech story’s effect on the ratings has waned with CNN returning to second place in the ratings. On The Record led the way in the primetime Demo.

Does Nancy Grace have a pulse?

Zahn is STILL holding up, which is a good sign…that, or KO viewers have flocked over to PZN after getting tired of his program. Either way, good news for CNN. Also nice to see AM getting a bump up in ratings after Monday.

We probably should wait until KO comes back before writing his obit, although I would prefer to do it now. Beck beats Matthews … interesting. And MSNBC Live almost a scratch yesterday morning. They will really need to find the right person here.

Um Randy- KO and Nancy Grace have had the same demo rating the past two days. Why are you asking if she has a pulse, but not KO?????? Get a clue

I think you should check #3 above again Chet.

OK ILL TAKE IT BACK!!! I’ll admit when I’m wrong.. Didn’t realize he was still out, since I don’t watch it anymore haha

To answer Spud’s question, of course the departure of Imus is affecting MSNBC’s ratings - and they rightly deserve it. Shame on them for the hasty firing of Imus before he even served his suspension and before the team even got a chance to meet with him.
Did anyone find it ironic that the only ones to not call for Imus’s firing was the women’s players themselves? One less notable personality on a network already struggling to find an identity. Good move…

Headline News continues to dominate MSDNC in the critical, all-important, key demo. How long will it take for Dan Abrams to declare that his outfit’s “popularity” continues to “grow”?
Comment by Tom — April 25, 2007 @ 11:18 pm
Well, KO was back on Wed., and another heavily coordinated with the blue blogs “Special Comment” arrived just as his “lock” on second place has slipped.
Go figure.
