FNC weekend notes…
Tomorrow on Fox and Friends Weekend, former WBAL Meteorologist Domenica Davis will make her debut with the FNC Weather Team. Page Hopkins will be taking the center chair this weekend. And on Sunday Harris Faulkner will be on the 10am hour with Eric Shawn.
UPDATE: Obviously Davis didn’t debut this morning. Rick Reichmuth was on. Maybe tomorrow.
CORRECTION: I wrote the above too soon. Davis appeared at the end of the program.
And on Sunday Harris Faulkner will be on the 10am hour with Eric Shawn.
I always record the Dr. Rosenfeld segment, so I’m looking forward to seeing Harris get some anchor time.

I’d like to see Paige get that spot permanantly…I think she terrific. I’m also a fan of Harris Faulkner. She has an impressive resume and I suspect she’ll do well. I really like the weekend line up…a new weather person to boot.

Hopefully Harris can show them she’s worth putting in place as a regular FNL anchor, not just the headlines position, though she does great during weeknights.

The only person worth watching on the weekend Fox and Friends was Rick Reichmuth. I am serioulsy disappointed that he won’t be on this show anymore. Perhaps this is a “try out” gig with Dominica.
How does FNC come up with these decisions?
Harris is a good choice for the other slot, however.

While I haven’t seen this new lady yet.. I do see her bio on FNC’s website. So, I take it she’s not a freelancer?

FNC must be on a quest to beef up their stable of hot latin brunettes. Just an observation…not a complaint.

After searching her name, I just saw an old clip of Domenica Davis reporting for her former employer, WBAL in Baltimore. She is very attractive…I suspect she’ll get lots of attention here at the blog in the near future.

They introduced Domenica this morning on F&F. She seems to have a real good/fun personality (which I like).
I’m also a fan of Harris Faulkner. I think she did a great job when she subbed for Shepard (she got great ratings too). Her personality really came through. I also like her doing the headline news on the weekdays. The transition from Laurie Due (who I liked) to Harris went very smoothly.

I hope Page Hopkins gets the spot on the weekends for F&F. Courtney just does not work well and is not good……I like Harris also and I hope she goes on at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Just please please keep Page on F&F.

I completely agree with Page keeping the center seat on the weekends. The show was unwatchable with both Courtney and Ainsley there–despite their obvious attractiveness, they could not keep up with the two Kellys. It was below FOX’s standards. As for Harris Faulkner, Greta seems to like her so she must be good!

Something funny about Greta and Harris.
Greta always introduces her as “my best friend, my very good friend, my best best best friend,”, etc.
But when Harris took a few weeks off to have a baby and they met again on air later , Greta didn’t even know she had given birth~! Oops!
I am not criticizing, but just making this funny observation.

they definitely need to keep page in the center chair on fox & friends weekend! she is smart and funny and can do serious news well and then lighten up when appropriate - in fact, i think she should actually be in the center chair weekdays - gretchen is almost as unwatchable as courtney - i can’t wait to see harris on the 10am show - i love her but haven’t ever seen her do interviews, just news updates

Cella: I like both Greta and Harris, but you are right, Greta over uses “my good, good friend Harris.” It is great observation…kind of wierd that Greta didn’t know, or mention, Harris had a baby.

I see John Kasich’s Heartland wasn’t on Fox tonight. I perferred the two(2)hours of the The Line Up. I can’t hack Congressman Kasich, who comes across like a drama queen…similar to Rick Sanchez.

F&FW is far better with Paige in the center seat. I was actually able to watch this weekend, which I cannot bear to do with Courtney Friel there. Paige is witty, well prepared, and has a good rapore (sp?) with both KW and GK. TPTB need to keep her there.
Harris did great this morning as well. I haven’t had much of an opportunity to watch her because I usually only see her do news updates. She is a good fit and I hope TPTB give her the chance to hold on to that time slot.

Paige has a naughty streak which bodes well for her future. The rampant and bawdy leg crossing doesn’t hurt either. Julie Bandaras has definite possibilities but needs a “outfit” makeover. Way too many pant suits. And THAT’S the news for now.

Domenica is awesome. She was the reason alone started watching WBAL in the first place. She has a really good sense of humor. And it deosn’t hurt that she’s freakin hott!!! The only thing bad about the whole thing is that I can’t see her anymore. Enjoy Fox viewers…..

Domenica may be cute. But, Rick is sooo much cuter than her. And his voice is great. Plus, he has a lot of fun doing segments that are not weather reports.
I sure hope he is just taking a few days off for vacation since he’d been on almost non-stop since Feb.

Paige Hopkins is wonderful, she has a wonderful rapport with Greg and Kelly —I could not handle watching Courtney—-too glitzy—- However, I miss Rick Reichmuth, I hope he is not gone forever—if so, it will be a great loss for Fox!!!

All goo comments, but Fox News needs to fix Fox and Friends, replace Gretchen by Alisyn. Also like Harris, an Page is doing okay. Greg Kelley is beconing better, and Kelly Wright is a rue first class gentleman. Enjoy,
