  1. Wait, there’s someone missing here, just can’t think of who it is!!

  2. Keith is hosting the entire pre debate (starting at 7), stop drooling all over yourself, “Jim”.

  3. Why didn’t all the Republicans pull out of this debate? After all it’s being hosted by MSNBC. Oh yeah, Republicans aren’t pu$$ies who are OWNED by a wack job base.

  4. John:

Will KO have the guts to spar impromptu with GOPers not named Hagel? Given how poorly he conducted himself off the cuff in last week’s with his fellow travelers, I bet not. He couldn’t even come up with a good response to Matthews’ jab about allowing opposing viewpoints on “Hardball”.

I bet KO conveniently hides from interviewing Republicans, lest he be challenged ala the Zell Miller/Chris Matthews incident in 2004.

  5. #:

Sadly, in the minds of the Dems, being owned by the blue bloggers actually constitutes “speaking truth to power” in their eyes. Yet another example of liberal cowardice and hypocrisy.

  6. I won’t watch it. It is just too darn early. Mark my word though there will be plenty of disecting on MSNBC for days and they will make someone (s) look terrible.

    The Flat-Earth Society aren’t wackjobs? Okey-dokey.

  8. So is Tucker flying from Secaucus NJ, where he just did the morning show (I think?), all the way to California for the debate?

    Comment by Ira — May 3, 2007 @ 12:36 pm

  9. Again my two cents. If I were republican I would pull out. Why should the dems have it both ways. As I stated before, Chris Matthews, Tim Russert, Keith O. will seize on one little thing, blow it out of proportion and talk about it for the next year and half. The repubs are crazier than I thought. They have guts and you can say that about the top 3 dems.

  10. You mean the Chris Matthews who has a hard on for Rudy and McCain? That one?

    Comment by Randy — May 3, 2007 @ 1:07 pm

  11. Shaun,
The flat earth society??? Dude, I know you’re no road scholar but can’t you do better than that? I can’t even decipher your moronic point. The liberals running for president are owned by the far-left base (George Soros, et.al). Instead of countering my point you write something about the “flat earth society”. Nice.

    Comment by ChrisM — May 3, 2007 @ 1:30 pm

  12. We’re simply comparing bases here ChrisM. Obviously, that is beyond your comprehension.

    Comment by Shaun — May 3, 2007 @ 1:53 pm

  13. And the “Flat Earth Society” is the base how? Don’t see a lot of ads by the Flat Earth people… don’t see a lot of bumper stickers. Not a lot of news reports on them… don’t see them interviewed on the talk shows. So what are you talking about?

  14. I think (it was reported here?) that MS-NBC smartly enlisted Nancy Reagan & the Reagan Library when setting up this debate. So it would have been very difficult for Republicans to turn it down Nancy Reagan. Honestly, it was a pretty smart move on MS-NBC’s part.

  15. Randy I don’t know if I would go that far about Chris M. I like Rudy and John M. I also wish Al Gore would get back in then it would really be worth watching and I might just cast a vote for him, at least it would be down to 3 choices.

    Comment by cathy — May 3, 2007 @ 3:58 pm

  16. I want to see how Matthews does as a moderator of that bunch. Ten people in 90 minutes? YIKES. AND a moderator who does not believe in letting people finish a thought? Should be interesting…
I read that Gravel got invited to the Dem New Hampshire debate…
