Interesting that H&C spiked a little with the Sharpton-McGuirk debate but it was still an off night for everybody.

Sheesh. MSNBC taped doc block shows got the highest demo numbers of all MSNBC programming for the evening. The 11 p.m. MSNBC Investigates numbers for overall and demo beat all other MSNBC programming on Friday night. We’ll never get rid of the doc block.

Wow, what was going on elsewhere on Friday? Everyone’s numbers stunk.

As I’ve noted before, the doc block almost always does better with a Countdown lead-in, than it does with a Scarborough Country lead-in.
Oh, and it’s not “Scarborough in the Morning.” It’s “Morning Joe,” probably the best morning-show name they’ve come up with.

I dont think it is the Countdown lead in. Instead, the nothingness that is TV on a Friday Night. So why not watch a random documentary on MSNBC?
