  3. I should have figured that out. Too early for Wed’s #’s to be out anyway. Spud’ll fix it.

    Comment by Jim — May 31, 2007 @ 1:45 pm

  4. Larry King Live – 1,031,000 viewers (327,000)

As annoying and obnoxious as Trump is, him talking about Rosie really brings in the ratings…Kiran did OK subbing for PZ I guess, although she was pretty far back in the demo.

  5. It seems that with every day Matthews spends most of the hour campaigning for “Rudy” his ratings continue to decline. Olbermann is now MORE than doubling his “Hardball” lead-in!

  6. More people watched PZ with Kiran than when Paula is on….could they see up her skirt by any chance? :P

  7. #6, Did your bowl of milk go sour and leave you cranky?
I think the problem with Paula’s show is more the producers failing to put together a show that people want to watch than it is who hosts.

  8. Umm #7 You just blew the entire PR budget at CNN with that one comment. I wonder now why they are promoting ONE face of CNN and ONE person as the greatest thing since sliced bread with the whole “watch this journalist” thing when you come along and say something common sensish like “a show that people want to watch than it is who hosts.” BTW, more people watch when that “journalist” is out of the studio than when he’s in the studio.

But the producers failing thing does explain all of CNN’s numbers, actually you have to look a little further up the food chain at CNN to see who the problem is.

Oh, DO tell us AGAIN who the problem is, Mary. We might have missed it the last few times.

  10. Another good month for Keith reported here:
    http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/original/may07vs06.pdf
Really smoked both Paula & Nancy in both the demo and in overall. Still getting smoked by Bill, but Keith is up 63% in the overall in May 07 vs. May 06, while O’Reilly went down 1%. Olbermann up more in the demo than O’Reilly, too. Better start having more of that body language expert, maybe.
