  1. Holy smokes…FIFTH in the all-important, god almighty demo figure? Good grief! Maybe Abrams shouldn’t have ragged on all of the other networks in that little video when he can’t even manage to pull the troops together at MSNBC beat beat CNBC…

  2. And 5th overall. Go MS

  3. Wow, Brian over at TVN has Keith 2nd in demo with 166K using LS + D vs. Spud’s count for Keith at 128K. ( tied for 3rd ) No wonder Brian picks this method. Keith wasn’t there, but sure is a difference.

  4. Maybe Dan should stick with being a general manager. Actually that hasn’t been all that great for him either. Maybe he should just go back to being a lawyer.

  5. Pretty decent numbers for Morning Joe.

  6. Glenn Beck continues to crush Chris Matthews in the critical, all important, much loved, key demo. Evidently, Saturday Night Live isn’t aware that Matthews has no audience. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have skits spoofing Matthews’ unwatched show, because not many people in the Saturday Night Live audience have any idea who the *&#@ Matthews is.

  7. Yeah, but SNL is part of NBC… so it’s a little cross promotion, that I’m sure the network loves.

  8. Heh. Spud’s psychic. He gave us Weds numbers before they happened.

    Comment by Arthur — June 13, 2007 @ 10:37 pm

  9. That’s why Spud is so loved, Arthur.
Looks to me like Morning Joe is slowly inching its way out of the sub-100,000 demo; and Scarborough Country with Dan Abrams is slowly sinking without Joe. So the question is: Are we going to see more docs at 9pm, or will we see a primetime Hardball (which I think would do very well), or something entirely different?

  10. It has become increasingly clear why Msnbc has kept the Imus format (that doesn’t work for anyone else) and handed it to Scarborough.

The only rational reason is the reference to a cup of morning coffee in the title. Cause there is clearly nuthing else going on with that show.

  11. awww poor Keith

    Comment by Chet — June 14, 2007 @ 9:30 am

  12. Morning Joe is a cheap imitation of IMUS…it’s NOT catching on, and probablt won’t be on in the Fall. Either because of dismal ratings, or(and this is my pic) Joe Scumbag will say something inappropriate again and get yanked.

  13. They should just bring Imus back! He said he was sorry and the girls accepted his apology…jeez!

  14. The numbers for Countdown seem lower with Olbermann on vacation this week. It is funny how Olbermann points out that Anderson Cooper is the “personality” journalist/newscaster, when clearly people seem to tune in to him(Olbermann) for perhaps the same reason. (Bush, the war, Gonzalas aren’t that “newsy” as when delivered by Amy Roebach, I guess).
