  1. If they’re planning to replace Zahn with Campbell, that’s going to be a stupid move IMO. There’s nothing Campbell can bring to the table to boost the 8pm ratings that Zahn can’t. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of an effect (if any) this has on the primetime schedule (i.e. TVN saying Lou Dobbs may move to 7pm or 8pm?)

  2. I’m very surprised that she’s going to CNN. CNN seems to have a surplus of anchors who do not current anchor jobs, i.e. Soledad, Miles. If she did replace Paula, the 8 pm slot against O’Reilly would be somewhat futile, would it not?

  3. I agree that Campbell for Paula doesn’t make a lot of sense. I’ve never been sold on Campbell Brown as a program host. She’s a darn good reporter but as a host/anchor, there’s something missing. Zahn, for all her show’s faults, makes a better host.

  4. Ms Brown needs to simmer a little longer, she’s not done yet.

If Cnn throws her in to host her own prime time show it will be a mistake and a shame.

  5. They didn’t let Chet simmer for long before they had her push Soledad under the bus. Campbell Brown would be a good choice for AM, but I think we will have to wait a few months before another change is made on the morning show. Campbell does have some experience doing a morning show, right?

  6. Cambell Brown would be a great replacement for Kiran Chetry
Cnn rating in the morning will improve a great deal

  7. This is just a thought, but so far we’ve only heard the confirmation of Brown moving to CNN — not that she’s taking Paula’s spot. Would it be so radical to suggest the following: Campbell and John Roberts in the morning, Paula out, and Chetry takes Paula’s spot?

  8. Agreed–send Campbell to the morning show–God knows it needs her. I’m still trying to figure out what they saw in Kiran Chetry. And they so need to move Lou Dobbs to 8pm. Anderson and Larry King get all the CNN Love but it’s Lou who has the better ratings. I think he’d be great at 8pm. If nothing else, it would minimize Keith Olbermann’s ego a little.

  10. Cambell Brown will be a great addition in the morning show, because right now is kind of dead.

  11. Ms brown we will miss you in NBC,you did a beatiful job there and made it feel like you were watching and listening to someone who is really talking to you and knows her job, wish you the best and thanks for all you did,NBC HAS A LONG WAY TO GO TO GET SOMEONE ELSE LIKE YOU WHO WOULD WORK WITH ANYONE AND MAKE A BORING PROGRAM COME TO LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

  12. I like Cambell Brown. NBC made a mistake putting Mederith on Today. Cambell is younger, more attractive and more interesting. She would be great on the am show joining John Roberts, who CBS was stupid enough to let go for that paperweight Katie.
