  1. Keith “Second Place” Olbermann remains mired in a humiliating FOURTH place out of FIVE in the critical, much loved, all important, key demo? How can that be?

    Comment by Tom — June 25, 2007 @ 1:15 am

  2. Nancy Grace’s ratings double Olbermann, brings joy to my morning.

Morning Joe just isn’t catching on with viewers. It’s mostly unwatchable babble.

    Comment by Jules — June 25, 2007 @ 6:30 am

  3. morning joe is unwatchable. can’t wait for msnbc to announce he’s a permanent I-Man replacement. hope that day joe scratches…..thrilled to see NO ONE MSNBC has tried has been successful, even just a little, and that people are NOT watching….

    Comment by cas — June 25, 2007 @ 7:23 am

  4. Dan put Joe in the morning and that is tanking and took over his evening show and that is tanking. Why is he a general manager?

    Comment by Alix — June 25, 2007 @ 7:38 am

  5. Joe is going back to nights beginning this week. Chill out people. My God!

  6. I havent seen Randy write any comments in a while.. He’s a big KO supporter.. I’m sure he must be feeling ill from his low ratings

  7. Nancy Grace doubles Olbermann’s numbers. And I don’t think that many viewers would abandon him because of a missing woman. It is more likely that he is banished in the household of all the Imus fans who have banished him and the entire network.

  8. Keep tanking messbc! This news just makes my day!

  9. Keep tanking messbc! This news just makes my day!

If this makes your day, I hate to think how pathetic the rest of your day is.

    Comment by Arthur — June 25, 2007 @ 1:10 pm

  10. LuLu - I’m with you…our days are wonderful but our mornings without Imus are pathetic! I sat through Clifford the Big Red Dog this morning with my son and it was pathetic. There wasn’t anything on worth watching though.

NYP is reporting about how GE is stepping in because they’re disgusted with the way NBC/MSNBC are being run…not a good sign.

  11. We’ve been here before. Just last month, for instance. With all the daily fluctuations, there were days when Paula beat Keith & days when Nancy beat Keith. Like clockwork, anti-Keith commentators would then pop up on this site, writing as if that were the general way things went. And then there were the days Keith would beat them — and then, strangely, like clockwork the anti-Keith commentators would disappear, not saying anything. At the end of the month, to nobody’s great surprise, Keith beat them both in the ratings for the month, which transcend the day-to-day fluctuations. (See: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/original/may07ranker.pdf) But, still, the clockwork continues. Perhaps it would be best to wait and see the June monthly numbers. Maybe this month Paula, or, more likely, Nancy, can actually beat Olby for a month. Olbermann had a whole week off, and his numbers took a big hit for that week. And now we’ve got the kind of story going that makes Nancy’s numbers surge. (#7 is funny. We all know why Nancy’s numbers are up.) With all that going on, Nancy might actually take 2nd in June. But even with all that, it’s not clear that she will. We should know soon.

  12. Since msnbc dumped Imus I don’t watch any programing on that particular network. I used to watch Olberman regularly, cause I can’t stand O’Reilly. I find I don’t watch nearly as much cable news as I used to; finding that most of it was lame anyway. Talking heads yelling at each other is not really entertaining. They sound ignorant and rude most of the time. Although, with no cable watching, my ability to communicate with many Americans regarding the latest on Paris and Anna Nicole is severely limited.

    Comment by JoeM — June 25, 2007 @ 3:18 pm

  13. I agree with Gramps. The numbers keep disputing what you claim. Maybe that’s why you keep howling at the moon. Maybe you think that if you keep saying it one day you’ll be right. It seems that you guys don’t have anything better to do. Acutally, it seems that you reval in saying negative things. What a pathetic existance.

  14. why are all of you fighting over who finishes second? I thought America loves winners and O’Reilly destroys everyone and there is no arguement about that. I could frankly care less if Olby beats Paula or Nancy, because they all get destroyed every single day by O’Reilly. What exactly is the deal here? Never have I watched so many care so much about utter mediocrity.

It isn’t just here, but Olberman has way too much attention paid to someone that needs fans to argue that he is really in second not in third. We do and should only care about the winners not the also rans.

  15. #6: I have also noticed randy’s conspicuos abscense.

Why is no one talking ’bout Beck’s uptick and his surpasing of Softball tweety-Matt?? I personally find Beck’s format ireverantly great, sometimes mushy, and always unpredictable VERY refreshing compared to ALL other cable “news”. kudos for HLN for taking a chance and putting a conservatve on, they are becoming alot more balanced- must be learning some sly fox formats of fomentation.

  16. Morning Joe is a sad replacement for Imus. I can’t watch it and have stopped watching most of MSNBC because of his firing. What were they thinking?

    Comment by alice jamison — July 10, 2007 @ 12:55 am

  17. I think Keith’s numbers are down because people are sick of wacko conspiracy theorists who have “Bush Derangement Syndrome”. Look at the Economy you Moron! No hit since 9/11! Put a fork in Olbermann.

    Comment by Tony Malone — July 22, 2007 @ 8:30 am

  18. That is well known that cash can make us disembarrass. But what to do when somebody doesn’t have money? The one way is to receive the personal loans or just college loan.
