I’m trying to avoid this story but people are emailing me asking why I’m avoiding it. So here it is and props to FishbowlNY for breaking it…

Congrats to Nancy! How wonderful and exciting for her! I wish her the best!

Which story are you referring to, the one on Nancy Grace or the $50 million dollar law suit against CBS?

Spud why would you avoid the Nancy Grace story? I don’t understand. Is it so shameful to get married and be pregnant with twins?
Comment by Alison — June 26, 2007 @ 1:44 pm
Honestly, the picture over on TVNewser just kind of creeps me out, but congrats to Grace! If anything, at least this means we will have a few months without the yelling woman, but also, I don’t want to be her child, imagine her yelling at you all the time.

Congrats to Nancy, though I really am not a fan of her. Amazing how she was able to find someone to procreate with…*Shudder*

Spud, here’s the real (funny) story you avoided: :D

OK, I read that and thought it was a joke. It took me a minute to realize it was true.
Any baby is a blessing, and now she has two. :) Congrats on her double blessing.

What did it say? I think they took it down already.

Weird, but there is two dashes after the “stripes” so it should look like this stripes–
For some strange reason the dashes disappears when I try to post it here.
Its just a funny critique on large pinstripes in suits and why you should not wear them (They put Jack Abramoff, Al Capone and Keith Olbermann in the same fashion “don’t” catagory).

Keeps leaving out the second dash…Oh well…type “Jack Abramoff Keith Olbermann” in google news and the link will come up.

I think it’s great too. The woman has devoted her life to crime victims since her fiance was murdered 20 years ago and she deserves happiness.

It’s not the most flattering of pictures (the bridal shot) of her to be sure but there’s nothing wrong with getting married and getting pregnant, especially at her age (she’s 47).

Spud, don’t feel so bad about it. The story is worthy of your board, because everyone in the world has heard of Nancy Grace, a very prominent personality, like her or not. You’ve been posting articles about this Jeff Koinage, who, I believe, has virtually zero name recognition on this board (based on the lack of comments his story generates).
Maybe more of us will now tune in to Nancy once in a while to see whether she tames down her personality now that she’s a wife/expectant mother.

Jim, that story was hilarious, esp. since KO would be the first to criticize someone else for doing this! I just wish we had a picture.

Congratulations to Nancy Grace. Anything to get her off the air for a while is fine by me.
