AC 360 summer programming changes…
ICN received email from alert Anderson Cooper 360 viewers inquiring about AC 360 cutting back on its live coverage to just the first hour. I looked into it and here’s the story:
AC 360 will be live from 10 pm ET to the top of the 11 pm hour. The rest of the 11 pm hour will be tape. However, if there’s breaking news occurring the program will continue live as warranted. This format will remain in place for the rest of the summer.

Thanks for sharing that…I noted in one of my comments in the ratings section that his 10pm hour was practically the same as the 11pm hour and thought it was an odd move that makes no sense. Replay Lou Dobbs or something instead, no? God forbid they simlucast CNNI for an hour…

Well, there goes the whole point of the “only newscast live at this hour” thing they ran for the second hour. If anything, I will admit I might tune into it occasionally, but the additional hour is nice when the network breaks into some special report, some which I will watch over the repeat of the Daily Show/Colbert from the night before.
