Why is everyone analyzing the also rans so much? Don't the winners deserve the analysis? Everyone is spending way too much time deciphering KO's numbers. Who cares?

"MSNBC Live (7-9 AM) - 252,000 viewers (69,000)"......

On Msnbc's website, they call this slot "Mourning Joe". So one can only assume that it is called "Msnbc Live" here, so as to not scare off potential eyeballs before Danny Boy and his spokesman AKA "soon we will have something to talk about", actually call it "Mourning Joe Show".

In other words why would they want to KILL a show before they actual call it a show ?

As for Scarborough, Dan #'s in the demo are impressive. They are just about the same as Deal or no Deal, on tape and on Cnbc. Tape on Cnbc !

Bottom line, Ms pulls mid 100k Demo, live or MEMOREX. Period.

Too bad Dan had a "NO DEAL" in total viewers......... There's always next time.......... Steady as she goesssssssssss. Don't rock the boat baby.....

And anybody see Wes Clark lately ? Hello WESSSSSSSSSLEY

FNC owns the ratings, but there are many shows that I think one needs to watch; Glenn Beck, Nancy Disgrace, Lou Dobbs (when/if moved), Anderson Cooper (when moved). Furthermore, the new shows that will come into play this fall will add a new element to this picture. I agree with the comment that HLN has a very diverse formula, and it's working for them greatly. MSNBC will be making line-up changes soon to their primetime, but it is interesting to see that Abrams actually has a little spark going in Scarborough's spot if you look at the numbers for the past week. I believe they are about as good or even better on some nights than Scarborough ever received.

It appears BOR also has been receiving slightly better number as well.

Looks like things DID return to normal...KO and MSNBC resting comfortably at #4, and "Morning Joe" stinking up the ratings again.

As I noted yesterday HLN has taken note of the FOX model by introducing a more "risky" or at times "risque" venue ala G. Beck. Beck has now beaten Crissy-Matt for 6 or 7 straight nites.

Just proves that putting a more diverse (in opinions) format is paying off for HLN. Viewers are enjoying Beck's ribald unpredictability with the comedic/sarcastic tones. Beck will also put on those he may vehemently disagree with and debate them intellectually- kinda like BO'R and Calamity & Holmes- except in a more polite and entertaining way.

I fear we're going to be exposed to a very very "Special Comment" before long..if KO keeps falling so far behind Nancy Disgrace...but good news for KO is that Nancy is carrying the twin spawns of Satan and should be off the air for a while after their hatched..that should help him return to his very distant second place behind O'Reilly.

Almost a million viewers for Nancy Grace last night. I've been working some pretty late hours so I am missing a lot. Any theories on these numbers? Did she spend a lot of time talking about the wrestler that murdered his family?

Maybe Dan should send his congratulation memo to HLN. Something has happened at HLN or people woke up to the fact that MSNBC is a 4th rate cable network.
