Gibson on Ingle/Abrams…
Johnny Dollar has the audio of John Gibson from his radio program talking about the Laura Ingle incident, Bill Moyers on Rupert Murdoch and FNC, and Dan Abrams who he torches over Bill O’Reilly allegedly blaming Chris Benoit’s wife and Jessie Davis for their own deaths…

Dose Dan Abrams truly believe that KO and his nightly attacks on O’Reilly and FOX is really going to help MSNBC climb out of 3rd place?

I liked Dan when he first took over this show. Smart, hot, and funny.
But he is getting whiny~~

I watched both shows. I saw what Bill said and I saw what Dan said. I was shocked by Dan. Dan tried to twist it all around. Even Dan’s guest backed Bill!! It was so funny, Dan was getting all flustered. Priceless.
Oh, And the next day Dan didn’t even mention it. What a joke!

Hammering O’Reilly on a daily basis helped Olbermann for a little while, but not it’s just pathetic. I credit BOR for fighting back against NBC as a whole. It’s working, and now MSNBC is just faltering.
O’Reilly talked about these women should have protected their kids better. That’s not blaming the victim. That’s the truth.
What a bunch of d-bags.

I’d prefer if both sides quit attacking each other. It’s gotten to the point where each side is making up absurd arguments to smear the competition. It’s like a grade school playground. In the end, neither of them look very good.

abrams must be talking his orders from Olbermann these days. dan’s attack on o’reilly ultra thin, kudos to gibson for nailing him on it

I don’t know what MSNBC hopes to gain by their constant pounding on O’Reilly. They’re not even smart about it, either. Name-calling and taking his words out of context to show what an awful guy he is only makes them look petty and desperate. All it takes to counter it is for O’Reilly to play the entire clip to show the truth about what he said. And he still has the top-rated show in cable news by a mile, so whatever MSNBC is looking to gain, it isn’t really working. It looks more like sour grapes.
I sometimes get tired of O’Reilly’s crusade of sorts against NBC, but he does back his statements up with examples (and there’s no lack of those!) and he does give NBC props when they deserve it. His goal is to make a point about the agenda at NBC so the folks know, not to simply bash the network for kicks. And if anything, the constant hammering over at MSNBC proves his point.

What’s great about this particular speech from Bill, was that in it he actually acknowledged that people were going to take his words out of context and criticize him for things he clearly wasn’t saying. To me, that takes a degree of chutzpa… to say something you know other people will use against you, but to say it anyway because you feel it’s important. Rock on Bill!

Wow, that clip of Abrams is off the rails. Geeze…what’s his deal? I’ve always thought that Abrams was a top notch “broadcast TV” legal analyst. After all, he is (or was) the Chief Legal Analyst for NBC News, a very prestigious gig. After this recent incident, I wonder how NBC news can keep him in a position that requires such objectivity? As others have said, maybe Abrams did give Scarborough the morning slot knowing that he will frequently have the opportunity to fill in as a substitute host. When Gibson’s Big Story comes on FNC, I switch over to Around The Horn, on ESPN. However, from the few clips that I’ve heard, Gibson’s radio appears to be extraordinary. He seems to be especially loose. Does anyone know if Gibson’s radio show is on terrestrial or satellite?

Gibson’s show is terrestrial. FNC’s website will tell you where you can hear it in your area.

It’s also on satellite, and you can listen online too at gibsonradio.com (actually you can listen to all the Fox radio programs with the audio link there).

Gibson ought to sit in for IMUS. I’d hate to see him leave FNC but if you want a show with attitude…Gibby has got it.
