I was not an Imus watcher but do enjoy Morning Joe. But Joe needs to cut down on the leching / flirting behavior with Mika, Jackie Meretsky and Erin Burnett. He comes off in those instances like a horny schoolboy who can't get laid. When he deals with politics and news analysis, he is much
better. His humor is OK when it is not directed at the
women on the show in the form of lechery.

Morning Joe is terrible. Joe thinks he's smart but is an idiot. Thinking he's smart he interrupts guests & ruins the show. I stopped watching days after starting. His replacement at night, Abrams, is a breath of fresh (& intelligent) air.

Get a clue guys. Joe is here to stay, crappy numbers and all. Abrams is not in charge; as if he ever was. NBC is! And NBC cares about Today's ratings. That's the entire motivation behind this. Dan Abrams being dumb or not dumb has nothing to do with it. MJ is here to stay. Tucker and the new show are the only vulnerabilities right now. And the last four hours of weekend news.

"And CBS Radio, which syndicated Imus until his April firing, is negotiating whether some of its stations will carry the “Joe” show, as well...."

Perhaps CBS might want to rethink that. After the announcement last week that Msnbc is dropping Saturday afternoon's and the full 45 minute audio drop-out on Mourning joe, Friday morning, why would CBS want to take a chance and subject their listeners to more uncertainty ?

You get rid of the I-guy and bring in a wanna be broadcaster / politician whose numbers skip scratch, and combined that with programing cuts and audio drop-outs - That's a recipe for disaster. Sounds like the Msnbc ship is going DOWN !

Why would CBS take another chance with it's listeners ?

Oh Cella, you sound like the kind of person who wouldn't dream of watching anything other than Fox News.

I have started watching (ug) Morning Joe. I switch back and forth between F&F and MJ. He is ok and he does not make me mad. I will drop him in a heart beat if I-man comes back in Sept. I just hope that Bernard is with him. I won't watch him if Bernard is not with I-man.

Imus will resurface in September. It's possible it could only be on WFAN Radio out of NY, but you can stream it...can't wait.... Wonder if MJ will take a hit when Imus comes back on, even if just on radio.....

I caught the last 45 minutes this morning. I can't stand John Ridley. Joe talks way too much. I can't go back to Fox and Friends. I found Imus when I couldn't stand ED anymore. Maybe I'll just turn the TV off in the morning.

On the segments of this program that I watched today, Morning Joe has turned into another hate America show.
I don't watch it for any extended length of time.
But on the few minutes I allow myself, that is my observation.
Ridley was beating that old drum again today. It is America's fault that we are attacked by radicals.
Mika is so puffed up and self aggrandizing. And she seems to hate America the most.
Perhaps others who watch this show for more extended times than I do, have formed other opinions.
It would be interesting to read opposing views.
Joe was one of my favorites in the beginning of his days at MSNBC. But he has reversed his opinions so much that I am no longer a fan.

Humm, well, I wonder how this will look 6 months from now, if Joe can bring in ratings and Dan can keep the 9 PM hour afloat.

Isn't this what we were all predicting? Now the countdown begins: Which show will go first? Dan's or Tucker's?
