Ooooh, so that’s why HLN wasn’t in MSNBC’s press release.

Why is Fox news number 1 all the time?

Isn’t Nancy at 1,000,000 + currently ?

I am SURE that everyone we’ve seen write about KO’s “lock on second place” will now write that it’s actually Nancy Grace that resides there. We will see this as soon as the Easter Bunny shows up next spring.

More like when Santa Claus, Big Foot and little green men from Mars announce their joint world tour.
I never really believed in media bias until the last couple of years but after reading dozens of articles about Olbermann’s “rating success” I honestly believe that there is indeed a liberal bias in the media. Take a look at the ratings dominance that Fox has–yet how many glowing profiles do you read about them in the mainstream media? How many profiles of their personalities do you read at ALL in the media? How is it that Olbermann and crew could have such low, low, low ratings and yet the MSM believes that people want to read interviews/profiles of him yet everyone on Fox has double the ratings (at least) that he does and you might see one interview or article with one of them once every six months or so in a mainstream media outlet (and usually not flattering at that)?

Alison, you truly never believed until the past few years there wasn’t media bias? Wow! That’s all I can say to that.

I’m with you Alison.

Glad you agree with me PP that the media is indeed biased and is biased towards liberals and those who love them. Perhaps I didn’t see the bias because I was quite liberal in my younger days. I’ve just become increasingly disgusted with the radical leftists who have hijacked the Democratic party. I’m equally apalled at the far-righties who hold the GOP hostage. I keep praying for a viable third-party candidate to emerge or barring that, a candidate who will refuse to give in to the extremes of both parties. Meanwhile, the media, i.e., people who WRITE about media, keep on displaying their immense biases in who they choose to write about and who they choose to ignore. They don’t seem to realize that they are alienating their audience as much as some of these politicans and really biased commentators disguising themselves as broadcasters are (i.e., Olbermann).

well stated Alison! I too, look for a viable 3rd party candidate! the only comment I can add to yours is I believe both parties answer to the same corporate masters, which is why neither party is particularly doing a damn thing for the people, whom they are suppose to represent, I might add.

Alison,
Your comment:
” after reading dozens of articles about Olbermann’s “rating success” I honestly believe that there is indeed a liberal bias in the media. Take a look at the ratings dominance that Fox has–yet how many glowing profiles do you read about them in the mainstream media?”
is right on the money. Thanks for pointing this out. I only wish that your post would make it to the editorial page of my local paper (The Washington Post) . . .
I watched KO’s (Ubermensch) diatribe the other night, where his only objective was to slander the Pres. I have never, ever seen such evil hatred spew forth, even from an actor playing a scary hateful role in the movies (a la Jack Nicholson in “A Few Good Men” . . .)
Because of this show on this day, I have blocked the MS-NBC network on my family’s TVs.
Tschuss!
Bob H.
