I would imagine KO did decent Friday night because he gave the worst person award to all Fox News personalities - Neil Cavuto, BOR and BOR.
Personally I don’t think the 2nd place award was well deserved since BOR losing his Washington D.C. radio spot to Jim Rome isn’t that humiliating, although obviously KO was being satirical which I am sure passes over many of you.
Comment by elmonica — July 9, 2007 @ 7:44 pm
Of course he was being satirical. He should make himself WPITW tonight for losing his spot on radio across the country.

Note to all TVNewser readers:
As of June 28, TVNewser is no longer listing total viewer #s. The last two times they were listed were June 21 and 27. Is there a method to this madness? ICN is now the only source that I know of for cable news’ daily total viewers #s. I know some think the only important #s are the demo #s; but I think most of us realize both sets of numbers are important for us, the networks, and advertisers, albeit for different reasons.
Comment by erljr — July 9, 2007 @ 7:52 pm
That is ok Edward. As soon as Dan Patrick lands his next gig, I am sure KO will be a regular guest - unless of course that gig is with a Fox entity.
Comment by elmonica — July 9, 2007 @ 8:00 pm
KO was on Fox once. Anything is possible. I doubt KO could be one of the girl’s on The Price Is Right. Knowing him he might insult their sexuality or call them the “c-word”
Comment by Edward Schatz — July 9, 2007 @ 8:09 pm
Oh so Dan Patrick is rumored for the Price is Right? I am sure he can carry that off as well as Keith does Countdown.
As for the insults, as long he doesn’t get carried away to the point of BOR does with his female staff, I can live with it.

The past two days, Drudge has been reporting that an Imus comeback is in the works. However, he gives no details other than “he’ll be back on the air by January.” I wonder if he will find a spot on TV? Does anyone know when Fox Business Channel is starting up?
Comment by Objective Analyst — July 9, 2007 @ 9:19 pm
Objective Analyst, Does Drudge mean TV or just Radio or both?
Comment by Noelle — July 9, 2007 @ 10:07 pm
Hey Noelle…they don’t say. That’s what I was wondering also.
Comment by Objective Analyst — July 9, 2007 @ 10:25 pm
…I’m guessing he means radio…I’d like to see him back on TV…
Comment by Objective Analyst — July 9, 2007 @ 10:27 pm
el, what on earth did KO say about Cavuto (my favorite of them all!)?
Comment by Missy — July 9, 2007 @ 10:43 pm
2 hours for now of blackout in CNN International. The red mosque attack is underway in Pakistan, 23 dead, 35 injured at this point Reuters wire reports, all international channels are talking about it… But CNNI is broadcasting one hour of taped AC360 reporting crappy news, the so called ‘breaking news’ about something reported in MSNBC 2 hours ago, the Iraq report.. still is ‘breaking’ for Cooper 2 hours later after the AP News Alert… Woa woa woa… they have a live report from the drama reporter Michael Ware.

The O’Malkin Factor destroyed Olbermann’s gameshow by greater than 2 to 1. Can we expect any fawning tributes to Malkin in any American newspapers?
Comment by Tom — July 9, 2007 @ 11:26 pm
There was a long buildup to this Pakistani action Rodrigo. If it had been a surprise, FNC, CNN and CNNI would have broken in.

I think the IMan approved ’snitch’ is Bo Dietl. I think he’s ‘leaking’ the stories abot the IMan’s return. First it was rumored for September, and now it’s rumored for January…I guess his contractural issues with CBS will not be resolved by September…He won’t be back on MSNBC, he’ll most likely be back on CBS Radio around the country…but can’t, for the life of me, figure out where on TV he may show up….

Watching now live the Boring Tuesday on MSN-never-seen…
This works? The ratings are up whey they talks only about politics?
Comment by Rodrigo — July 10, 2007 @ 9:20 am

Comment by Rodrigo — July 10, 2007 @ 9:21 am
Ah.. Plane crash… and MSNBC talking about politics… was a small plane… first report says…

Morning Joe another scratch. I thought Willie would do better but nothing seems to click on MSNBC anymore. Dan Abrams has become such a caricature of himself. He’s lost all confidence and has that deer in the headlights look and I have to turn the channel. I actually watched Larry King last night and he was pretty good.
Imus will be back because his fans won’t shut up until it happens.

Rod-
I agree about MSNBC.

Rodrigo and erljr, Thanks for the reporting. I don’t have to turn on the TV now. You guys should start some Internet news website or something. Good Job!
Comment by Noelle — July 10, 2007 @ 10:19 am
The only “news” I want to hear is when IMUS returns to the airwaves..IMUS fans are everywhere..we’re boycotting and banding together and we’re not going anywhere until we have him back…simple as that!!!
Comment by carrie elkin — July 10, 2007 @ 1:03 pm
Well carrie elkin, I think from reading this thread, you are going to get your wish. When and where? Your guess is as good as mine but it sounds like it’s going happen.
Comment by Noelle — July 10, 2007 @ 4:06 pm
It can’t happen soon enough for me…my spring and summer have been dismal to say the least…I’m hoping for a joyous fall.
Comment by carrie elkin — July 10, 2007 @ 4:11 pm
I’m with you guys waiting for Imus to return. Morning Joe is so awful but we’re the ones suffering the most w/out the I-Man.
Comment by Mel — July 10, 2007 @ 4:36 pm
I propose not to hold off until you get enough amount of money to buy all you need! You can just get the credit loans or short term loan and feel fine
