Claman signs with FBN?

DealBreaker.com says Liz Claman has already signed with FBN. Can anyone confirm or deny?

UPDATE: A Fox Business Network spokesperson tells ICN “We do not have a deal with Liz Claman at this time”. Maybe the deal is not officially completed yet? Insiders believe that she is expected to sign.

  1. I think that website just used TVN’s quote where Brian said “Sources expect Claman to land at Fox Business Network, set to launch this fall”, and blew it up into a story.

Regardless, I wouldn’t be surprised if she DID sign with FBN…judging by that pic on the site, it looks like Liz has EXACTLY what the new FBN is looking for…

  5. According to TVN Liz has “to sit out a 90 day non compete period.”

  6. What does that mean? She can’t talk to anyone for 90 days or she can’t be on air anywhere for 90 days? Seems kind of unlikely she didn’t talk to anyone to try to secure a job before calling it quits at CNBC.

  7. Why are we assuming FBN? That girl is extremely talented in many ways shapes and forms. One of the few multi-faceted in this biz. Gooo Liz!

  8. I think its that she can’t be on air for 90 days. Looks like she WILL be heading to Fox though, otherwise why would she have darted from Englewood Cliffs yesterday, in the middle of the week, without advanced notice? The only question now is what daypart will she be anchoring at FBN? Probably a prime slot, maybe 3-5pm ET or 4-6pm ET.

  9. I went to Wikipedia to read about her, and guess what - her husband is a producer for Paula Zahn’s program! Who would have thought?

  10. Why are we assuming FBN?

Sticky: Where else? I don’t think she is going to Bloomberg!

  11. Even tho I like “Cleavage Claman”, she better not mess with R. Gomez’s stay at FNC. Ah…Banderas & Gomez….I haven’t seen a better pair of Latins on TV since “Cisco & Pancho”.
