The new TVNewser revealed…

Jossip spoils the unmasking and outs the new TVNewser…

Great. Just great. Now 80% of my commenters who hated TVNewser because they thought he was on MSNBC’s payroll will have to contend with TVNewser being run by a guy who was on MSNBC’s payroll. I’m never going to hear the end of it. Thanks Laurel… (/sarcasm)

  1. Well, I’ll be giving the new TVN a fair shake.

  2. Does that Brian guy get bought out since he’s leaving a site he created?

  3. At least this new guy has had EXPERIENCE working in television which is something Brian was sadly lacking. And hopefully, having worked at MSNBC he’ll be far more skeptical of the “everything is wonderful” stories than Brian fell for every single time the MSNBC PR machine fed them to him.

  4. Wow if this guy has a bone to pick with MSNBC this could be cool.

  5. Somehow, Mary, I doubt that will be the case.

Lurker, TVNewser was bought by MediaBistro several years ago - they kept Brian on salary but owned the rights to the name and ‘good will’.

  10. BS (yes, those are his initials!) is going from the future to the past. Big mistake! It may be more money for now, but it’s a backwards career move.
