YouTube debate moved?
Time’s Ana Marie Cox, who seems to have achieved uncanny penetration into the CNN/YouTube Republican debate, blogs that CNN is moving the debate…
The Ron Paul campaign announced, and other campaigns have confirmed, that CNN is moving the YouTube debate to another date, possibly in December.

I watched the Democratic debate and was less than impressed. As a YouTube fan, I guess I had high expectations going into the debate, with it being a never-before-seen format, but I was simply left unimpressed. I’m sure part of it was due to the candidates sticking to canned responses for the most part, but even the presentation and moderation left much to be desired. I’d assume that the date change is due to the Republican candidates not being particularly eager to participate having seen how lackluster the first debate turned out to be.

Ummm, she works for Time, upstairs from CNN. Do the math.

Why would Republicans participate in this?
The left leaning CNN will pick and chose questions determined to make the Republican candidates squirm.
Never trust a liberal. I’m just saying…..

I think more along the lines of why wouldn’t they participate? To refuse would be counterproductive for them and make them look no better than the Democratic candidates who refuse to do the FNC debates.
If they don’t do the debate, the mantra will be (and rightfully so) “if they can’t stand up to squirmy questions from CNN, how will they stand up to Al Qaeda?”

STP,
Hmmm. It seems to me that refusing to take questions from Brit Hume is not the same as refusing to take questions from a snowman.

I was responding to your remark about questions from CNN being chosen to make Reupublicans squirm. You didn’t make any comments regarding snowman type video questions in your original remark so please do not try and change the direction and intent of your comment now.
