Scarborough on Edwards/News Corp…
On Morning Joe this morning, Scarborough took aim at John Edwards over his war with News Corp. (via NewsBusters which also has video)
SCARBOROUGH: John Edwards, demanding that Hillary Clinton return money she got from News Corp. [the Rupert-Murdoch controlled company that is Fox News’ parent] because News Corp. is such a corrupt, terrible outfit. Of course John Edwards got $1,000 from News Corp. himself, so it’s sort of like being half-pregnant. You can’t be half-pregnant. You either take the money from the corrupt source or you don’t. And of course this is the same John Edwards who won’t go on Fox News, but before he decided this would resonate with primary voters, you couldn’t keep the guy off of Fox News. I mean, he was up on Sean Hannity’s every other night. Now, he is shocked and stunned. Shocked and stunned! — that anybody would go on Fox News. Here’s a guy who wants to take on the Taliban and he can’t even handle Roger Ailes. How sad, how sad.

Amen, Joe. We have been dealing all along with a phony two-dollar bill. What hubris!

I’m not a huge fan of Joe, but in this case I agree with him 100%!

Same here. Also, Edwards needs to explain why taking the book advance $ was fine last year, but all of a sudden it’s wrong to do so now.
Same w/Bill Richardson, a guy who appeared on Fox News so frequently that it seemed that he was employed there. What has FNC does differently in the last few months that has made him change his mind about the network?
(Personally, I am GLAD these clowns don’t show up on FNC, because I don’t want to see them anyway.)
I hope Ann Coulter goes after him for this!

Yikes! I meant to ask why it was OK for Edwards to take the book advance $ last year, but that News Corp. $ this year is somehow wrong - what did Rupert et al do differently in the last year that makes them public enemy #1 to the libs?

Maybe Joe realizes that the morning show is circling the drain, and he’s not going to get his 9:00 pm slot back. So he’s not being so careful now.
Joe Scarborough, Worst Person in the World! (Not tonight–expect that within 48 hours of when he leaves MSNBC!)

Maybe Joe thinks he might need a job soon and is trying to build a bridge that takes him to FOX!

Joe tried to get FNC to hire him in the past.
He was floating his resume around, etc.
No deal!

I agree with Scarborough. The fear that these people have about Fox is just unreasonable.

John Edwards is the biggest phony hipocrite I have ever seen or heard of..I al so think that he is milking his wife’s illness for all it’s worth. God have mercy on us all if this man is elected.
