Merv Griffin dead…

The first Jeopardry host Art FlemingMerv Griffin passed away today at the age of 82. Fox and Friends’ Brian Kilmeade had one of Griffin’s last interviews in July where he discussed his legacy and the impact of his shows…

On Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune:

I created both of the shows in my dining room in New York.

On where he sees talent on TV today:

I watch American Idol because of Ryan [Seacrest]. You know I started him off; I gave him a game show called Click…Ryan’s the best. It’s amazing how he pulls it together with what’s going on in that theater.

Larry King Live programming change…

Due to the death of Merv Griffin CNN will be repeating an interview he did with King tonight at 9pm ET. Tomorrow night on Larry King Live, King will have a special show on Griffin and Nancy Reagan will be one of the guests…
