Republican CNN/YouTube debate…
CNN’s release on the Republican YouTube debate…
CNN, YouTube, and the Republican Party of Florida today announced that they will hold their Republican primary debate on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Like the Democratic CNN/YouTube debate, this live two-hour forum will feature video questions submitted to YouTube that will be broadcast and answered by the candidates on CNN. CNN’s Anderson Cooper will moderate.
This debate will be held at the Mahaffey Theatre in St. Petersburg. Online users are currently able to submit their questions at www.youtube.com/debates.

But what America really wants to know is if the YouTube Snowman will be asking a question of the GOP candidates???

A kooky idea the Republicans should skip. The best debate so far, for both the Dems and Republicans, was that sponsored by ABC on Sunday morning a week ago and moderated by Chris Stephanopoulos. Nobody was left out and the questions by Chris were what we want to hear - substantive, with nothing trivial or idiotic as we heard on YouTube.
This was a bad decision for the Republicams. Watch the ratings go down.

Global warming is trivial?? Oh, I know that’s the Endtimers core belief - the end of the world is eminent so who cares if the icecaps melt - but those of us who actually want the planet to be habitable in the longterm think it’s a real issue.

RGL: Absolutely. Having CNN producers sift through thousands of videos to determine what may embarrass a candidate is hardly “talking directly to the people.”
Arthur: What is an Endtimer (with a capital “E”)? Never heard that one before.

Arthur, that is “imminent,” not EMINENT. Can you at least learn the meaning of simple words instead of giving us a sermon on something you probably don’t understand? Sad!

Hello, on this blog, that’s some people’s whole schtick. Not really understanding or looking at the numbers or reading and comprehending but still finding time to have an opinion that is completely and totally wrong while still managing to sound like a pompous blowhard at the same time.
BTW, everyone is entitled to their opinion even if it doesn’t match YOURS, it might be the right one.

I can always tolerate opinions from others, but not stupidity. I can sniff pompousness from any distance.
We need Ms. Thistlebottom badly to edit these egregious errors from those who don’t know the difference between flout and flaunt, or discreet and discrete. Or, for that matter, between eminent and imminent.

I don’t think that was our Arthur.

Oh no. I guess this means I’ll have to watch it now.

So, lemme get this straight…
The Republicans were against the debate before they were for it?
F’n flip-floppers…
Not to mention:
If they caved to The Snowman, how can we be sure they won’t cave to the TERRAists?!

A monumental error. CNN will shape the questions in order to humiliate the Republican candidates.
How could they fall for this?

Yeah, SJI… the Republicans were against it, before they were for it! Oh no! They flip-flopped on a goofy CNN Debate! That’s ALMOST like flip-flopping on a vote to authorize a WAR.
They’re spying on me! Corporations! FOX News! ARRGGGHH.

Actually, it’s nothing like flip-flopping on a vote to authorize a war (BTW: can you name me someone who did that?).
Luckily for me, I didn’t attempt to make that comparison.
Try not to get too far ahead of yourself, lil guy.
You make yourself look the fool.

Number 12,
Usually the postings on this board are good natured and non-confrontational.
And then winter came - you slipped in.

The only question I want an answer to and cannot seem to find any interest in is why aren’t we using our vast coal reserves to make gasoline instead of buying foreign oil?
Congress wouldn’t support the building of coal gasification refineries so we could become dependent on ourselves instead of overseas oil.

My question: AS President, would you paron Border Patrol Agents Ramos & Compean? As a follow-up: Would investigate Johnny Sutton for concealing the drug smuggler’s arrest for bring-in drugs after being granted immunity?

If anyone goes to Youtube and actaully watch the videos, it’s obvious there are some thoughtful and provoking questions. It’s not all, “Do you dye your hair”.
