  1. If anything proves FNC is a prop for the Republican’s, today is the day! CNN and MSNBC are doing border to border coverage of his resignation but FNC is covering some stupid crime story and fires overseas.

  2. Oh no! Another burrito vendor opens shop in Brownsville, Texas.

  3. Chris,
Fox’s reporting on Gonzo’s resignation may cast a negative light on the administration; and that should be considered a private matter rather than news.

I think Fox News ought to hire Gonzo for the role of torture analyst. Let the culture of death audience get their jollies from detailed analysis by Gonzo on how we might extract information from random individuals who are found wearing turbans and long beards.

  4. A liberal branding any group with a “culture of death” moniker is simply hilarious! I’m sure the 4 million children aborted last year would find it humorous too.

  5. And any conservative group claiming to be concerned about a “culture of life” is hypocritical piece of crap.

Excellent suggestion. I mean, if People of Faith can get their own ‘faith and values’ coverage on the MSM, it’s only fair that the People of Pain should get similar representation. I believe Gonzales would be a big draw with the B&D community.

  7. #5 : Thank you, Jane Fonda. Was that your best Napolean Dynamite impersonation?

  8. Interesting that Chris basically lies and elmonica can’t wait to jump in and bash Fox viewers.

When I woke up about a half-hour after the story broke, all I saw was non-stop coverage on Fox. It began on F&F and seemlessly spilled over to Hemmer and Kelly. They even got Chuckie Schumer on the phone among many others to bash Gonzales.

  9. Ira, I was just in the mood to post it since I watched the beginning of the second hour of AN and found them talking about Vick and the wildfires, while CNN and MSNBC were talking about the Gonz. In that respect, it just seemed like FNC was ignoring the story.

  10. So, and correct me if I’m wrong, Chris, you’ve determined that FNC was “ignoring” the story because when you tuned in to hear about it, they weren’t talking about it… but the other nets were. Well… how long had they already been talking about it before you tuned in? How long from when the story broke, did you make the determination that they were ignoring the story?

  11. You screwed up Chris. But I respect you for admiting it and coming clean.

Can I suggest (beg, plead) that we stop bashing other commenters? Mary’s gone now, can’t we act like the adults I think most of us are?

  13. Where’d Mary go?

  14. Mary was… ahem… removed… the other day from the site by Spud.

  15. I wonder how much coverage Countdown will give the Gonzales resignation…probably the whole hour lol.

  16. Chris: I apologize for being a tad harsh.

Apparently just before the 10:30am ET press conference, FNC wanted to catch up on the other news of the day, that may be what you saw.
