What, will Jill Dobson be doing his job now! I hope Bill wanted out, because he is much better than any of the other stooges (Courtney Feel, Jill Dobson).

Does that hot little number, Lisa Bernhard, still work at FNC?
Comment by Terance — August 28, 2007 @ 4:39 pm
I have not seen her in a while. I was going to watch foxnews.com’s teen choice red carpet coverage to see if she was there. (Not for any other reason) Sadly, I forgot to.

I have not seen her in a while.
Comment by jmkaib — August 28, 2007 @ 4:50 pm
I’ll miss “Must be McCuddy” I hope he owns it.
Comment by A.M. — August 28, 2007 @ 4:55 pm
Well if it’s Fox that means more bimbos. I will miss Bill and not get entertainment news from the Barbie girls.
Comment by Liz — August 28, 2007 @ 5:09 pm
That’s a shame, particularly after I had to suffer through Friel making her headshot kiss Shepard Smith’s the other day. Jill Dobson is much better but (and I so hate when people say this about news people, so forgive me) her voice annoys me…at least she gives off the impression she knows what the heck she’s doing.
I do wonder what happened to Lisa B?
Comment by Sarah — August 28, 2007 @ 5:26 pm
Lisa’s been gone for at least a year, if not two. Remember the ad with her and McCuddy? He will be missed.
Comment by erljr — August 28, 2007 @ 5:40 pm
Bill will be sorely missed. Any idea yet where he’s going?I’m glad I saw his final gig at FNC last weekend. If Jill Dobson is the go-to gal, I can live with it. I hope FN realizes Friel just doesn’t connect in a meaningful intelligent way with viewers, no matter how blonde she is. Pun intended.
Comment by Nancy — August 28, 2007 @ 5:58 pm
The wikipedia article says he has resigned as a contributor.
Comment by jmkaib — August 28, 2007 @ 7:43 pm
First Mike & Juliett, then Kiran, now McCuddy?
:*(
Comment by A.M. — August 28, 2007 @ 9:13 pm
Lisa Bernhard has not been gone two years or even 1 year.
If you remember, she was on “Red Eye” numerous times when it first began. And she was an employee of FNC at the time.
As much as they used Jill Dobson on the air, it made sense to hire her.
I did see a interview where Camerota talked about missing Boston. All I can say is GO BACK!! You won’t be missed on FNC.
Comment by Stan — August 28, 2007 @ 10:50 pm
Well, that totally sucks major league rhino. Jill Dobson always comes off as being too tabloidy, too National Enquirer/Star/Weekly World News. I keep expecting to see an alien pop outta her stomach. McCuddy was great because he’d always throw oddball questions at the celebs during the junket interviews and would get them to laugh & not take themselves soooo seriously. This is just another reason to NOT watch FNC.

Dude, McCuddy is on Fox & Friends right NOW … 5:53am pacific on Wed Aug 29th …
Comment by Tiamat — August 29, 2007 @ 8:54 am
Hmmm… Bill was on Fox & Friends this morning (Thursday) with all the gang. He was Danny DeVito…
Comment by F101 — August 29, 2007 @ 8:55 am
That is weird…it also sounds like we will see him next week
Comment by Angela — August 29, 2007 @ 8:57 am
..AND his bio is still there…
Comment by Angela — August 29, 2007 @ 9:01 am
OK, I saw him a few minutes ago and thought I was having a stroke or something.
Good to know that he’s still there - and that I didn’t have a stroke!
Comment by Amused — August 29, 2007 @ 9:01 am
That guy is one of the very few that can pull off wearing a heavily pin striped suit and still look great and like the shortest distance between two points. Vey unlike that sashaying, karate chopping quack on “Doctor 90210″. What a “boob” he is…times two.
Comment by Roger C. — August 29, 2007 @ 9:47 am
I don’t see his bio on the Fox website, but you can still access it through Wikipedia. Also, Wikipedia says he re-signed, beginning in October. Strange…
I agree about his great, odd questions. Not long ago he interviewed Hugh Laurie and they got into a discussion on Britain’s healthcare system versus that in the U.S. It was really interesting.
Comment by Jeannie — August 29, 2007 @ 11:04 am
I did a google search to find his bio on the Fox News website because it wasn’t on the bio list (but I have noticed that they really don’t keep that list up).
Comment by Angela — August 29, 2007 @ 1:52 pm
I’m among the minority it seems, but I don’t care for McCuddy. He’s the king of cheap shots.
Comment by spiffo — August 29, 2007 @ 2:49 pm
Angela, I think FNC is probably the absolute worst network in terms of keeping their website up to date, I mean, you could find the old Fox Online page for months after the Hemmer edition was cancelled and it still has the old show stuff on there. Also, some ancient bios still exist also, and some aren’t even updated, not to mention program information (look at Laurie Dhue’s bio, or the Fox Report page for examples).
Anyway, at least Dobson appears to know what she’s doing compared to stage prop Freil.
Comment by Chris (clind) — August 29, 2007 @ 6:11 pm
He was on Fox and friends this morning…
Comment by Wenchie — August 29, 2007 @ 7:44 pm
Opps sorry….I hadnt read all the comments where it was mentioned he was there…My bad…
Comment by Wenchie — August 29, 2007 @ 7:46 pm
I don’t see on Wikipedia where it says McCuddy’s re-signed….
I would be very happy if he does come back to Fox. I liked the way he did his job because he made things interesting. I’m certainly not a Courtney Friel fan — she really grates on my nerves. Jill Dobson — I don’t really have a problem with her at all.
Comment by Caroline — August 29, 2007 @ 9:08 pm
Chris: For once I agree with you.
The Fox website is also tough to navigate. They were promoting a section on natural disasters but you have to go through US news to get there instead of the main home page. Once there, many disaster linksare old and should be discarded.
Comment by Ira — August 29, 2007 @ 10:52 pm
100% correct Ira and Chris. It’s almost as if FNC had a meeting and decided that since they’re so far behind their competition in web-based news, then why even bother?
It’s a real shame. I’d love to lose MSNBC.com as my homepage… but it’s too well organized, too clean, too well done for me to switch.
Comment by ImNotBlue — August 29, 2007 @ 11:05 pm
Ira,
For once I agree with you. I think having a News website as one’s homepage is a little “old school”, but hey that is just me. Everyone needs to transition to new technologies at their own pace based on their own interests and abilities.

In with Bill, out with shrill Jill! That voice!
Comment by Cella — August 30, 2007 @ 10:23 am
MCCUDDY IS NOT GONE! HE HAS BEEN PUT BACK ON THE BIO PAGE!
Comment by jmkaib — August 30, 2007 @ 3:22 pm
I hope that FNC received tons of e-mails about Bill’s departure and they renewed his contract. He is my favorite entertainment reporter.
Comment by VK — August 30, 2007 @ 7:22 pm
He was on the Big Story just now.
Comment by Foxfan20 — August 31, 2007 @ 6:02 pm
McCuddy was just on F&F with Page, Greg & Kelly.
Comment by Amused — September 1, 2007 @ 7:56 am
McCuddy is on right now, I think this is bad info. He’s still there on FOX in full Technicolor!
