CNBC vs. Eric Bolling: Injunction Denied…
ICN has learned that CNBC’s attempts to get an emergency injunction against Eric Bolling from appearing on Fox News Channel were denied in court today. CNBC had tapped high priced Manhattan law firm Proskauer Rose to handle this. Bolling was just a contributor on Fast Money, not even an anchor or front line CNBC talent. This was akin to using a bazooka to swat a fly. Or to send a message. Still it seems heavy handed to me. I wonder what would happen if this was a CNBC “name” instead of Bolling?

Good thought…I can’t believe they’re spending so much time/money/effort over Bolling!! I mean really, let the guy go!

this was more of a test, for when murdoch comes after the big guns and cnbc wants to see what they can do to stop it.
