  1. So they just hate Geraldo? Or is it FNC in general?

    Comment by Roger C. — September 9, 2007 @ 8:09 am

  2. From what I could tell from that clip, looks like Geraldo took the protestors in stride and didn’t really let it bother him…actually looks like he enjoyed it!

  3. It had nothing to do with Whorealdo or FNC - they were conspiracy freaks - 9/11 “truthers.” They actually believe that our govt was behind the 9/11 attacks, and that Al Qaeda had nothing whatsoever to do with it (except maybe as willing co-conspirators with the govt and/or unknowing dupes).

Their psychotic leader, Alex Jones, got arrested last evening for this. I was hoping he’d get the crap kicked out of him in jail last night.

    Comment by Amused — September 9, 2007 @ 9:19 am

  4. Alex Jones is such a jerk that he made me feel bad for Geraldo who I can’t stand.

But really these “Thruthers” are the new face of the left..the ones that the Dems pander too at Daily Kos and a recent poll shown that almost 42% of Dems believe that Bush caused or let 9/11 happen..they’re clearly ol’KO’s and Rosie’s fanbase are’nt they?

  5. Amused is correct. One of the signs read “9/11 was an inside job.”

    Comment by erljr — September 9, 2007 @ 9:35 am

  6. One of the few times as of late that I’m taking sides for Geraldo!

mlong, if 42% of the dems feel Bush was complicit in 9/11 as you suggest, our nation is certainly in trouble, because they don’t seem to know who the real enemy is! And I tend to believe this number, as we hear more people on TV denouncing the administration that al Qaeda. God help us!

    Comment by Missy — September 9, 2007 @ 9:47 am

  7. “than” al Qaeda, not “that”

    Comment by Missy — September 9, 2007 @ 9:48 am

  8. Bush has killed America. He has brought this once great nation down in the last 6 years. Bush needs to be worried more about the people of the US than Iraq. Anyway, poor heraldo..and poor roger c….always wondering WHY everybody is against ‘us’. get a competent leader in DC and we all wouldn’t have any worries at all. I think all repubs have gone crazy right along with their great leader. and to think i voted for bush, the first time. what was i thinkin!

    Comment by Me — September 9, 2007 @ 9:57 am

  9. Me, I believe Bush was running the Texas Rangers when the WTC was first attacked in 1993. And he was in office less than eight months when we were attacked in 2001, not yet implementing any strategies against anyone at that time. So try again, OK?

    Comment by Missy — September 9, 2007 @ 10:03 am

  10. Wish Geraldo had gone over and punched one or all of them.

    Comment by Liz — September 9, 2007 @ 10:20 am

  11. Liz: Better yet, Geraldo should have spit in their faces, as he wanted to do to Michelle Malkin!

    Comment by Ira — September 9, 2007 @ 12:47 pm

  12. ( Me ) will you always be a Moron?

    Comment by mike — September 9, 2007 @ 1:26 pm

  13. Missy, “Me”’s point was not that Bush didn’t prevent the attacks, but he’s not helping keep our country in check. Katrina is one great example, which every administration is guilty of not taking care of in the idea of making replacing infrastructure an important item. Even today, do we hear about that at all at any of these debates? Anyway, Bush needs to refocus some of his attention in the USA and improving our healthcare system, education, infrastructure, and whatnot else.

    Comment by Chris (clind) — September 9, 2007 @ 1:28 pm

  14. Last time I checked we still had a three-branch government system in this country which includes the President, the Congress, and the Judicary. So the Congress doesn’t share some of the blame/guilt in our crumbling infrastructure? Sorry but not everything is Bush’s fault.

And so far as the 9/11 conspiracy theorists go, they don’t even deserve the attention we’re giving them here.

    Comment by Alison — September 9, 2007 @ 1:54 pm

  15. “Katrina is one great example”

Short note..Katrina…the State and Local Governments (all Dems) played a much bigger role in the events(before&after)at N.O. than anything Bush did..now back to our regular program. :)

If anybody really wants to debate the Alex Jones/Rosie O’Donnell “Truther” types just look up the Popular Mechanics 9/11 issue on-line that completely tears apart their little house of cards.

Plus since I can never leave a post without bringing him up…how long will it be before KO comes out of the closet as a “Truther”..now I believe he’s right on the edge…he’s already blamed Bush for the murder of Pat Tillman and that Bridge collapse so is blaming him for 9/11 that far off..I think MSNBC must be holding him back from doing it because even for that far-left network hat would be too much Bush bashing.

    Comment by mlong — September 9, 2007 @ 3:46 pm

  16. I was flipping back and forth between Geraldo at Large and a football game last night. Just to add…the youtube clip picks up well after the “9/11 inside job” crew showed up and when they first started chanting during a segment Geraldo turned to them (and I don’t think they could hear him because they didn’t react) and told them to “get a life.”

    Comment by FishOil — September 9, 2007 @ 4:13 pm

  17. What? You mean Johnny Dollar is selectively editing video? Say it ain’t so Dollar! :P

    Comment by Spud — September 9, 2007 @ 4:57 pm

  18. Not selectively…accidentally. I hadn’t seen the first part of the show and wasn’t aware that he said that line. If I had heard it, it would have gone in for sure!

    Comment by johnny dollar — September 9, 2007 @ 5:13 pm

  19. I wasn’t implying that it was intentionally left out…just thought it was worth mentioning that he addressed the crowd.

    Comment by FishOil — September 9, 2007 @ 8:12 pm

  20. Geraldo says “Our Fox News guys will take care of them” Fox news guys? since when is the nypd “fox news guys”? looks like an fnc anchor thinks fox security is the law and vice versa.

    fox! how misguided they are

    Comment by Aaron — September 10, 2007 @ 1:49 pm

  21. So someone was arrested for standing behind Geraldo’s outdoor shot with some 9/11 truth signs? That’s illegal? I see people outside the Fox & Friends show with signs all the time. Is there something I’m not aware of with this story?

Aaron, maybe those FOX News guys were the same ones that O’Reilly was going to send out to get the caller who tried to mention Olbermann’s name on O’Reilly’s radio show? ;-)
