  1. Spud, any chance you can find at least the quarter hour breakdown to find out how few people watched Edwards’ panderfest?

  2. Missy (in case you read this) I just posted a response to you in the de Palma thread. I tried to post much earlier but this crappy blog software rejected it without so much as an error message.

  3. In what seemed to be a tacit admission that MSNBC is sympathetic to the left (or, at the least, the anti-war position), Olbermann was anchoring the coverage and after the Edwards commmercial aired and the panel was back on Olbermann asked this to Rachel Maddow -

“Rachel, why on Earth did he buy that commercial? It’s not….I don’t think I’m saying anything unknown to the audience….I don’t think he would have gotten a hard time from this particular network. Why on Earth did he do it that way?”

Rachel went on to say it made him “look Presidential to be speaking on his own terms.”

  4. I saw that FishOil. I though the admission was explicit.

  5. I guess that’s as close to being President as he’s ever going to get. Thank God.

  6. Berberry — certain words are in the spam filter.. which will send the comment to a holding bin automatically. Maybe Spud can post a list.. :>

  7. Poor Edwards. I hope his hair spray was able to endure that long 31 minute wait.

  8. So Rachel Maddow from Air America Radio is part of MSNBC’s crack political team on a night the President addresses the nation? There’s an unbiased viewpoint to team with liberal hacks Chrissy and Olbermoron. Was Janeane Garofolo not available?

  9. bigred, you said it. Apparently she and Al Franken couldn’t make it to Secaucus last night.
