Freeze? What Freeze?
TVNewser notes yesterday’s Obama interview by Carl Cameron and says that Obama had been “freezing out” FNC according to “reports”. I don’t recall it that way. Obama had talked to FNC before yesterday’s interview as well.

Obama’s Grudge Factor
These are chilly days on Capitol Hill … and on the campaign trail for Fox News journalists — at least when they’re anywhere near Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.).
Sources tell The Sleuth that the Obama camp has “frozen out” Fox News reporters and producers in the wake of the network’s major screw-up in running with the erroneous Obama-the-jihadist story reported by Insight magazine.
“I’m still in the freezer,” one Fox journalist said, noting that the people at Fox “suffering the most did nothing wrong.” (It was “Fox and Friends” host Steve Doocy who aired the Insight magazine piece, which reported that operatives connected to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) found out that Obama, as a child, was educated at a Muslim madrassah in Indonesia.)

This guy used to produce MSNBC Dayside. If the quality of that program says anything… it explains a lot about why TVNewser quality has gone down the tubes. But the FOX News Spokeswoman who called him out two days ago (and was named “Worser Person in the World” last night on Countdown) was correct about Chris (TV Newser). Even Keith Olbermann is defending the former EP. It is so sad.
Just yesterday Spud (ICN) exposed that the ratings MSNBC and CNN are inflating, aren’t even being used to set ad rates… which puts pie on the face of Phil Griffin (yet again) for lying to TVNewser about how the demo win (using the inflated numbers) is going to increase their ad sales prices… which it clearly isn’t since they didn’t win the demo using the numbers that they use to set the prices. TVNewser should know better, especially as a former employee of the network. But for some reason, he is a mouth piece of NBC and doesn’t question their tactics.
I would like to applaud Spud for continuing to expose TVNewser.

Spud, google is your friend.
That occurred in January. At that time, yes, there was definitely some temsion going on. However, the Obama Special Report interview, which I cited, happened later. Months later. My point still stands. What freeze?

They all been on FOX many times..Edwards up to 30 before he suddely decided FOX was unfair to him……Now of course Hillary hasn’t but she only appears on careful controlled shows where the interviewer is a fan ..like Larry King or Dianne Sawyer.

Spud did a great thing in exposing what set of numbers advertisers really buy from. Spud is also continuing to do a good thing by standing up and pointing out when either his exclusives or those of others are claimed as original by TVN. If my material or that of other blogs was being swiped and presented as original, without attribution, I’d be pissed too. TVN’s readers deserve to know what this guy is up to and what he’s done. And the readers of this blog got an education on what ratings numbers really mean, etc. And that was very informative and educational for us all. I suspect those complaining about the posts on TVN and/or the fiction of what Live+SD really mean are those who don’t want to hear the truth or prefer to hear unchallenged press releases from certain networks.

I admire Spud for exposing the numerous flaws on TVN.
As for Hillary on FOX, she agrees to do interviews with Greta.
