O’Reilly tells listeners to DVR his show…
From an ICN regular who suddenly wants to avoid attribution..
Heh. O’Reilly’s plugging his show for tonight, talking about how Factor viewers don’t tune in as much on Friday. We gotta get our Friday numbers up, he says. “DVR the show”. Hey, that sounds like Live+SD to me!
Yesterday, MSNBC gave O’Reilly a big fat piece of meat to chew on with the Edwards campaign buy (for whatever reason he opted to just nibble though). Today, O’Reilly returned the favor…
Update: Welcome News Hole readers…

Is BO worried about KO numbers on fridays?

I have been doing exactly that ever since reading about this DVR issue. In fact, I wasn’t able to watch it until 11 p.m. ET one night, and instead of watching the rerun, I watched my DVR recording, as the rerun apparently wouldn’t count.
If the Olbyloons can play this game, so can we.

This really sounds like a dumb question but I need to know so - how do the people that do the ratings get their numbers? Are x number of people hooked up to being counted or what?

chi: I hate to agree with you but on The Radio Factor Bill said that his Friday numbers are not as high as the remainder of the week.
I guess her wants those LSD numbers!!

O’Reilly must indeed be worried Olbermann. I heard him say that Fridays are low television viewing nights. He said we’ve got a good show tonight and to DVR it. He also reminded the listeners to DVR it a second time later in the show. I don’t think he would have said this if Olbermann hadn’t beaten him the other night. LOL!
Missy, how long have you have the ratings device on your televison?

Yes sophia the numbers are gathered in that fashion but there is also a diary program that allows viewers to write and mail their viewing habits. This method is not as reliable as the box hookup though.
P.S. If you don’t have the box, your not counted.

Colbert is taking his mojo.
Olbermann is taking his audience.
The next inevitable step is for O’Reilly to achieve epiphany, denounce neoconservative ideals, put down the Kool Aid, and come on over to the Countdown as an upaid intern when Fox drops his show.

O’Reilly HAD a mojo? Could’ve fooled me. Colbert is out O’Reillying O’Reilly IMHO. And if it wasn’t news in the first place, who cares if it isn’t news anyway?
