  1. Too funny. Cavuto’s a good liar too apparently. (I’m not ragging on Cavuto, I love Cavuto!)

  2. I would title it The Duplicitous Reality of Fox News - the disturbing contradiction between showing soft porn during the news while attempting to uphold the principle that family values are not something that occur behind the closed doors of a bathroom stall.

  3. I just saw this on Cavuto’s 5 a.m. ET rerun and it’s good that you posted it, because it’s certainly worth commentary.

Poor Laura! She really thought Cavuto had learned his lesson; little did she know he was running that clip as she spoke! I’m sure she’ll let him have it as soon as possible - he deserves to be reamed out for this!

(I also love Cavuto, but he sure has issues regarding these bimbo videos that he loves to run on his program.)

  4. Disgusting….Did Neil have Laura on only so that he could show this clip of Paris Hilton. I don’t enjoy this crap and many others don’t either. It’s highschoolish and immature and quite grotesque! And Neil loses a lot of credibility because of actions like this!

  5. Cavuto owes Laura an apology. The big phony! For some reason I don’t think he will be a bit contrite.
I hope he doesn’t drag all this unseemly junk to the new Fox business channel. Please!

  6. He was trying not to laugh.

  7. DO AS I SHOW, NOT WHAT YOU SAY!

Hey, Neal has to show something at times to titillate viewers. It’s like a portrait in black and white, a contrast that would convey Laura’s message much better.

  8. Bad Evil Cavuto! ; )

  9. Cella: “I hope he doesn’t drag all this unseemly junk to the new Fox business channel. Please!”

From your lips to God’s ears, Cella. I hope the same thing but I’m not confident about it. LOL!

Title this “FNC Mocks Virtue” or “How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Pretense”

Laura has excellent points on this issue. When she was on with O’Reilly, he was spinning like crazy in his own no spin zone trying defend why he airs those video rolls. When she told him to act like a T-warrior and not run these cheesecake video loops, O’Reilly said no more bikinis, no hands over the breasts, no anything. Never again…to her and his audience. He didn’t keep his word but I’m sure he’d say he was only joking when he agreed to her request.

FNC is the T & A channel. For Laura to say “it’s really starting to creep into FNC’s programming” is the understatement of the year.

  10. I agree with Laura’s assessment of FNC’s frequent running of inappropriate video loops & lame Hollyweird sagas. On F & F they’ve even lessened weather coverage to accomodate. I must say, tho, I do like the new version of the weather segments as something different.

  11. Fox News is quickly losing credibiilty not only by showing this crap but the 24/7 coverage of OJ.

    I ask….”WHO CARES!”

And Neil, obviously he wants an audience but who does he want…creepy men who are lonely! It says a lot about someone that they have to entice their viewers with this and not with any intelligent programming they may have.

Fox News is arrogant and they better get back to basics or they will be lower than MSNBC in the ratings.

    No Kidding…………..

  12. Lighten up people. It was funny. I’m pretty sure Laura Ingraham has a sense of humor and will laugh as well.

  13. Fox News is quickly losing credibiilty

    With whom? Lil’ ole Jean?

I’m sure Ailes is tossing and turning every night.

  14. I second on the lightening up suggestion - those of you offended by occasional videos pertaining to the topic need to get your news from Pat Robertson’s network, whom I’m not putting down. This footage was on the same level as 1930’s and ’40’s “cheesecake” photo’s of Lana Turner, Jean Harlow and the like. . . and the masses didn’t have a hissy fit over it in that relatively innocent age. I’m surprised I haven’t seen an “Isn’t that Special!” remark yet.

  15. I thought it was funny. I would have had the same reaction as Neil… “Nawww… not me.”

    Comment by ImNotBlue — September 19, 2007 @ 3:26 pm

  16. As with anything, always aim for the lowest audience and you’ll get ratings. If some generic kinda-well, …..male is channel surfing and crosses this, he’ll watch the video but he might listen to the network for a moment about whatever the old man (Cavuto, or O’Reilly, I know) are bickering about.

Really though, I mean, can’t they find some other generic video, I mean, Carl’s got more advertising through FOX than probably through all of the other channels, well, combined.

  17. Fox is losing middle America - who watches Fox news except Britney and Paris. They are on everyday. Oh, and OJ too!

    Comment by semby — September 19, 2007 @ 6:42 pm

  18. T and A…T and A…cavuto probably won’t let a female share his show with him SO the bimbo’s are the only way.

    Comment by Harry — September 19, 2007 @ 7:24 pm

  19. Harry, what about Brenda Buttner, Terry Keenan, Cheryl Casone, Dagyn McDowell, Alexis Glick, Rebecca Gomez and the other female Fox reporters/anchors?

    Comment by Missy — September 19, 2007 @ 9:30 pm

  20. Missy, well played.

#18, according to the most recent ratings, FOX ranks among all cable channels. Somehow, I think that equates to more than Britney, Paris & O.J. watching.
