Chris Matthews interview…
Newsweek’s Susannah Meadows has an interview with Chris Matthews (who has a new book coming out so expect to read more interviews in the near future)…
You write about your failed run for Congress when you were 28. Might you give it another go someday?
I would admire myself if I did.
That doesn’t sound like a no.
Old dreams die hard. But I like doing what I do. I’m able to express myself without constituency worries, which make you boring.

Yeah, on Hardball last week Matthews was running down the appearances he is making this week….don’t remember them off hand, but he is going to get a lot of face time.
I can’t imagine Matthews as a member of Congress.

How in the world could Matthews ever run for anything? There is more tape of him making more asinine comments and insane claims on air than an opposition campaign could ever wish for. Just his comments towards his female guests and co-hosts would effectively lose him the women’s vote.

Quick! Please someone tell me where I can send money to whomever might be running against this idiot!

I bet at his speeches they have to sell those Gallagher ponchos… that way when he spits all over the front rows it doesn’t ruin people’s clothes.
