Is NBC going to stick with Matthews through the ‘08 election? I can’t think NBC is pleased to see his missteps as a regular feature on blogs. He blows out an EP, shuns Gregory, and seems to be a bit unhinged on air. I like the guys passion for politics and all, but he seems to be on island at NBC. He’s not good enough to be so demanding of his bosses.

I like Matthews because he’s not a blatant phoney like the lot at MSNBC with the exception of Tucker. I have never been able to stomach Gregory either so I’m with Chris on this one.

I wonder who is doing the gossiping? MSNBC/NBC is full of back stabbers - who can forget the way they turned on Don Imus in the blink of an eye?

In the blink of an eye. They waited a couple of days then suspended him. Then they took another couple of days to cut his show. It took CBS two weeks.

Two grown-up sissies competing for attention. I don’t like either of them: Matthews for his logorrhea, and Gregory for his pompous narcissism. They deserve one another.
