Beth Holloway On the Record…
Beth Holloway will be On The Record tomorrow night at 10pm with Greta Van Susteren. GretaWire has more…
Tomorrow night - Wednesday - Beth Holloway joins us for the full hour (assuming no breaking news.) Beth traveled to Aruba with our show this past weekend — our idea - and we shot lots of video which we intend to show tomorrow night when Beth joins the show. The video will look like I shot it - meaning not professional - since the Aruban government seized our crew’s cameras as they entered the country (and frankly did not help solve the problem in the least and even used an expletive to our producer when we asked to try and fix the problem.) We used our own personal handy cams to shoot the video. (Actually it will look a lot better than if I shot it since while the cameras and audio are not great, I did have great and professional cameramen!) I have no idea what the show will look like - I don’t even know what the video looks like since the tapes went directly to NYC from Aruba (and I returned to DC.)

I hardly recognized Beth Holloway from the video.
What`s with her very different new face.
Surgery?

This trip to Aruba over the weekend has kicked up lots of fireworks on Greta’s blog…

Why did this woman feel the need to write a book?
Hasn’t she said all she needed to say, in 1 yr being the cable news ratings grabber?
The newest way to profit in America. If, god forbid, you end up having a missing person in your family, and you can get the cable media involved, your chances of marketing that tragedy, both in tax exempt foundations, and book/movie deals. It becomes less about the victim, and more about the self promotion of their family, they become the focus, and insta celebrity. It disgusts me.

WhatSayYou??: You sound unusually harsh.
Perhaps the book will help pay some debt. After all, it does cost money to frequently travel to Aruba, stay in hotels etc.

Beth is now President and CEO of International Safe Travels Foundation. The foundation is “Non-Profit” 501(c)3 private foundation and is managed by Jack Sammis, who’s company IMN Solutions (in the office next door in the same building)manages the non-profit as well as acting as a meeting coordinator for corporations. They accept donations that are 50% deductible and Beth produces a good cash flow speaking for fees all over the US. It’s really a match made in heaven and I am sure generates a very, very nice income flow. Beth’s appearences on Fox don’t hurt the PR either!
Not bad for a teacher who’s degrees are in speech and who is listed by the Nashville Speakers Bureau as available for a fee (call for it!). Her bio is even provided by this Speakers Bureau on the International Movie Data Base (imdb.com) because of her overwhelming presence in the media!
Unless 100% of her book profits and 100% of her speaking fees (less travel) are given to the “foundation” with no income to her, I cannot see how she is not profiting from her daughters disappearence
Yep, not bad at all. Betcha she is making an income far beyond that she ever made as a teacher!
Problem is you can’t find at IRS 990 form on the foundation. Although required, it looks like one has not been filed since founding in 2005. So no one but Holloway and Sammis know what the gross take was each year since then……
