Foxes Business Network?

New York Magazine’s Daily Intelligencer thinks it sees something about the new Fox Business Network…

Almost all of the on-air talent that’s plugged on the site are skinny, youthful beauties like Shibani Joshi (a former model in India), Cheryl Casone (a former flight attendant), Jenna Lee (she played Division One softball in college), and Nicole Petillades (she loves slalom waterskiing!). And the best part is some of the foxy young broads are dudes! Reporter Colin McShane (he has 45 first cousins!) is a total DILF, and Cody Willard (he writes songs for a band called Museum of the Horse) has the glorious eyes and hair of a young Jennifer Connelly. Needless to say, we cannot wait until this network debuts. We want to see how long it will take them to fire Neil Cavuto for not being “leggy” enough.

  2. You notice there is no mention of Brenda Buttner or Terry Keenan joining FBN?

I’m guessing the spin will be they will continue to host shows on FNC and do business reports.

I just find it odd two people with a background in hosting business shows and reporting are not a part of FBN.

    I’m just saying.

  3. Richard, I, too, think they should be involved as well. They are both very knowledgable and would be great contributors.

  4. I find it humorous that the “Intelligencer” doesn’t understand what “clockwise” means, see photo caption on the “Foxes” story…

  7. The notion that FBN would betray their current hosts, which have garnered them such high ratings, is unfounded.

These remarks have been repeated on various blogs, sometimes with stinging rebuke of FBN, but no one has bothered to check FBN’s press releases:

“FBN will also draw upon FNC anchors Brenda Buttner of Bulls and Bears and Terry Keenan, business correspondent and anchor of Cashin’ In”

    http://home.businesswire.com/portal/site/home/index.jsp?epi-content=NEWS_VIEW_POPUP_TYPE&newsId=20070912006126&ndmHsc=v2*A1188730800000*B1191398830000*DgroupByDate*G3*J2*L1*N1000837*Zfox%20business%20network&newsLang=en&beanID=202776713&viewID=news_view_popup

The same was said of Neil Cavuto, but on ‘Your World’, Dave Ramsey revealed (let it slip?) that Cavuto would also be hosting a prime time show on FBN.

There’s no reason to believe Roger Ailes, famed for his loyalty, and the loyalty he inspires, would betray the talents he’s created. If those two anchors don’t want to host two new shows, there’s no reason to believe their current shows won’t air on FBN, probably in an expanded form.
