As I said, Morning Joe marches towards oblivion. Olby came back from third, but not on par with his past two weeks.

Anonymous makes a good point, that is a pathetic “hold” by Dan Abrams. Ouch.

This morning I found myself watching part of the first hour of morning joe. The reason: CNN was not very fun/talking about something i did not care about, and FNC was doing some stupid story on some insignificant thing, instead of a descussion of a very big news story. CUT THE CRAP FNC!!! Joe is more realistic to me, and i like the guy, accept when he attacks FNC. With Willie on, I enjoy the show. As for Mika, I am warming to her. She is actually very smart and cares about journalism.

Seems like Heather on Big Story is helping the ratings. TVN has the 5 pm and in the demo Gibson is doubled CNN and on the other few days I’ve checked it out it was around 50K or more. It used to be real close or CNN even edging out Gibson.
Anyways, I can tolerate Heather since she seems to not be drinking the kool-aid.

Shane, I don’t know where you think you are, but yay-rah content-free team boosterism of this nature should be left on the football field.

morning joe does NOT have ‘loyal’ watchers. there are many ‘closet’ Imus fans still watching, cause old habits are hard to break. when Imus returns these viewers will bolt, and morning joe will die a speedy death. morning joe has not built an audience…

Imus is close to signing a new deal. I won’t to suffer much longer:

I won’t have to suffer much longer is what I meant to say but I’m sure everyone understood judging from his ratings. I hope someone simulcasts Imus on cable.

Cas, you are so right..I look in now and then to morning joe. It is such a different atmosphere. Like a barren wasteland compared to the party feeling Imus enveloped you with. Looking forward to happy day’s again.
