  1. Cavuto needs more flashy women to boost the demo. But seriously, it was not really a crushing defeat for FNC. The political season is upon us, so expect slightly higher ratings for CNN. Still, CNN was CRUSHED in total viewers.

  2. Blitzer wins the demo by only 17,000 viewers yet Cavuto has more than 200,000 overall.

Doesn’t sound like “domination” to me!

  3. No biggie, Cavuto’s show is business oriented, more people would rather watch what Blitzer is reporting on but Cavuto still kills him in total viewers and the demo #’s are comparable.

  4. I know a lot here probably won’t agree with this, but TSR is a pure political news program focusing on the news out of Washington and some breaking news when warranted. With that in mind, that program does that overwhelmingly well and down the center, I hope the majority of us can agree on that. Anyway, Cavuto’s program honestly plays itself as a “business program,” but largely delves into political issues, sometimes with far fetched themes to make them even remotely business related. Honestly, I’d rather watch Wolfe any day vs. the Cavuto/Big Story tabloid hours, then watch Hume/Smith afterwards.

  5. “the program does that overwhelmingly well and down the center”? 1) Wolf Blitzer isn’t exactly the guy to keep an audience awake, 2) It’s difficult to think of TSR as down the center, unless one’s center of gravity leans to the left. The show that so clumsily attempted sabotage of the Vice President can hardly be called unbiased, no matter how you lean politically.
