Bartiromo vs. Matthews?
Big Head D.C. says it’s hearing Maria Bartiromo is ticked at Chris Matthews over the latter’s comments at Hardball’s 10th Anniversary party…
TV news insiders tell us that Bartiroma is concerned that Matthews’ statements could hurt ratings for the debate, and she’s already apparently received some blow back from conservatives regarding the situation.

Oh really? Well then, does Maria think her recent scandal hurt CNBC’s credibility? Never mind, I know she doesn’t have the guts to answer that one.

Maria is very credible to conduct this debate. Matthews should step down for the good of the debate as well as MSNBC and CNBC. He has lost much respect since his comments last week.

MSNBC didn’t have far to fall as far as creditability goes.
Matthews just made it a bit more crass and crude, but that
is the motto for MSNBC isn’t it?

I have no plans to watch this debate anyway, after Matthews’ miserable job of moderation last time. I can’t believe MSNBC is willing to make this same mistake twice, after the horrible reviews Matthews got before.

Why haven’t they booted him from this debate?
Chrissy must know where the bodies are buried.

They haven’t booted Chris because this is their MO at the moment. They can’t get any real press based on quality… so they go for shock. If Chris can get out, say wild things, and that will cause a few more eyeballs to tune in… just to see if he’ll start a fight… they’ll do it.
Integrity and ethics, has taken a back seat to just trying to get someone… anyone… to watch that network.
