  1. Live w/ Dan Abrams- 383,000 viewers (116,000)

My god, how can MSNBC keep this show? It does a BAD job at holding Olbermann’s demo…that must be concerning, no?

And congrats to OITO for beating Olbermann in the demo.

  2. Mad Money beats Tucker in total viewers. A new low.

  3. Wow! Rick Sanchez is getting the kind of ratings it took KO years to attain. Good for him. I can remember the countless of times KO would make fun of Rick when he used himself as a guinea pig for a taser gun demonstration… ahhh, Karma is a bitch.

  4. Yeah, Tucker’s numbers are bad. In my opinion, his show is far better than “Hardball” and Dan Abrams show. I think they need to move it to a different timeslot - they might find better numbers at 7pm. A re-run of “Hardball” is unnecessary.

As far as Dan Abrams goes - he’s a lawyer and should stick to Nancy Grace-type stuff and try to build an audience within that niche. His show bounces from Iraq to pop culture nonsense to previews of doc blocs….not a good format.

Also interesting to see Out in the Open beat Olbermann….if Rick Sanchez provides steady competition for second place and then Campbell Brown comes in and the show’s ratings declines, what will CNN do?

  5. Looks like CNBC’s ratings dipped this week, thanks in part to FBN’s entrance. I guess that was expected as people check out what the fuss is about over at Fox Biz. But overall the drops weren’t that jaw-dropping — CNBC’s numbers are pretty volitile week to week anyways (even as we can see during primetime), so who knows how it’ll pan out next week. Still very curious to see how FBN would rate during the day though…

  7. I used to like Scarborough Country, but that was a couple of years ago. Joe went over to the dark side about a year ago and has continued to sink further and further into that darkness. He sold his soul so he could keep his job. Sad affair. I have no respect for him anymore. Once in awhile I get the urge to watch, but it’s in the same vain as a traffice accident. It certainly isn’t get the truth. It’s obvious that his days are numbered.

  8. Yeah, it’s going to be interesting to see what CNN does to the 8PM slot… Rick is giving Olbermann a solid run for his money. CNN will make a huge mistake if they still push on with giving Cambell that hour… Like him or not, Rick Sanchez seems to have found a style that viewers like and CNN needs to decide if Cambell is really worth a shot in that hour now that something has finally taken off… certainly they can’t expect Cambell to go anywhere near O’Reilly’s numbers… but Rick has put them back in second place in that slot… which is more than Zahn was able to do… so CNN really has to make some hard decisions soon.

  9. Pretty sad ratings for Morning Joe — fourth place in the morning. Maybe they should call it Morning Low.
