Well looks like Olbermann squeaked out a demo win on Friday…but just barely, and only under the non-LSD numbers. Wonder if he’ll make a big whoop about it tonight…
Oh and AM is really losing ground these days…I think R&C has beat AM twice in the demo last week alone. Hike up those skirts, Kiran!

O’Reilly was a rerun.

It’s Olbermann, of course he’ll brag about it but will fail to mention that it was a repeat episode of BOR.
Comment by Alison — October 22, 2007 @ 7:26 pm
Why is O’Reilly in a rerun anyway?
Comment by Steve — October 22, 2007 @ 7:28 pm
Hopefully O’Reilly gets the message. His ego probably tells him that his re-runs will keep the ratings up - now look at the demo vs. olby. Humble yourself and get michelle back, dude!
Comment by Ricky — October 22, 2007 @ 7:35 pm
Fox was apparently trying to lose the night with that rerun (interview w/Vicente Fox). Lots of things were going on that day, and they give us that? What were they thinking?

What kind of brain dead, lifeless people turn in to a repeat of a news show from weeks back.
Get a life drones. Go burn some Harry Potter novels or something now that the author has outed one of her characters.
Comment by elmonica — October 22, 2007 @ 7:41 pm
elmonica, that was the point. People did NOT “turn in to a repeat of a news show weeks back.” Ergo the low ratings.
Now go haunt a house or something.

Missy: I think there is still the problem of a substitute anchor now that Michelle Malkin is out of the picture.

Reruns suck and should never be used on a cable news channel. Either get MM back or find a new guest host.
Comment by TBDave — October 22, 2007 @ 8:09 pm
That would have been a great spot to try something off the wall–like Greg Gutfeld guest-hosting on the Factor.
Comment by chalmers — October 22, 2007 @ 9:45 pm
Chalmers has a great idea. Gutfield would rock the no-spin zone.
Comment by erljr — October 22, 2007 @ 11:13 pm
You guys are right. There is a lot of talent that could have been tried out in that slot, and for FNC to rerun a program is just pointless.
Vicente Fox, who blames the U.S. for his nation’s poverty, was unwatchable the first time, so I don’t know how FNC would think anyone would want to see him again.

To answer your question, Yes he did. But of course he failed to mention that Bill’s show was a repeat. He did use the phrase “better get used to it Bill!” I assume that KO was referring to the ratings. Poor guy, I almost feel sorry for him…almost. Keith has issues, serious emotional issues. Somebody help him please, before he loses not only his show but his mind. He will never beat Bill, never. A for effort, F for results. Loser.

I used to watch him from time to time. He turned into such an idiot that I found myself hating him. Now I just kind of feel sorry for him. Does he believe his own lies? It almst seems like he does.

#11 excellent idea Chamlers! Greg Gutfeld & and the gang are pretty funny. Having him sub on a Friday would be fun. But perhaps it would be a shock to Bill O’Reilly’s older audience.
