E.D. Hill to 2pm ET: Update
ICN has obtained a copy of the new FNC daytime schedule…
6 am - Fox and Friends First
7 am - Fox and Friends
9 am - America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly
11 am - Happening Now with Jon Scott and Jane Skinner
1 pm - The Live Desk with Martha McCallum
2 pm - America’s Pulse with E.D. Hill

What a creative name! Happening Now. What a great name for a news show. FNC seems to be moving toward more co-host shows. Big Story, Happening Now, Americas Newsroom, Weekend FNL.

What will be the theme of America’s Pulse? Medical issues?
No Fox News Live on weekdays…end of an era.
When will these changes come into effect?

The Pulse was a show hosted by Shepard Smith that tanked way back when. Maybe they’re getting out the old paddles to use on the corpse.

Jon Scott is what is really happening!
A few months ago Roger Ailes said that he wanted to move Jon to eleven a.m. central to give the west coast population a chance to see this dream boat. It must have worked! He and Jane should be great together.

You would think FNC would have found out the dual format of anchors worked out better years ago considering they usually had mixed hour of FNC with Quinn and Jon, Quinn and Hemmer/Asman, and whatnot else. Really, now the question is when does this become offical, and is this the nail in the coffin of FNL existing period outside headline updates.

Interesting…..
You can’t help but wonder what went on behind the cameras to perpetuate this change.

hopefully it will kick start their weekday shows. It just seems they during the day they just aren’t bothered anymore. America’s Newsroom seems to be the only exception to this - it seems to work well and I’d guess that’s why it seems they are rolling out this format to the other shows.

Interesting that Wolf Blitzer starts each hour of his show out with the phrase “Happening Now” :P

Maybe its a direct shot at Cnn, Richard W. because Fox loses to the Situation Room sometimes. The key is sometimes. Fox can’t sometimes lose, they must always win. It’s like a commercial that airs for one of my local car dealerships. Starts out making fun of competitors for saying, “we’re number 2″ before boasting about being #1 in the midwest.

I wonder what FNC has planned for the weekends?
It seems like the new 4 host FOX News Live is now a regular 2 hour show on weekends.
They have also tested doing FOX News Live with two hosts Sat. 12pm-2pm and shifting Weekend Live to 3pm.

Cella: As a left coaster, I would prerfer the “dreamboat” return to 6am!!!

Richard, quad-host FNL is a regular thing when they’ve done it for two weekends now? (I think it’s been two) Maybe I think that’s a little too sharp of a curve to believe yet, but still, they really just need to figure out a proper format to get it all to work. If anything, at this point, the only stable thing during the weekends now is F&F, COF, and FNL Sunday Morning. That’s been the same throughout the last few years solid.

Craig, what’s this with no FNL on weekends? Did I miss something?

I like these changes, I think they’ll be good for everyone involved! Jon Scott and Jane Skinner are two of my favorites and I think they’ll be great together!
