Mancow, Jacobson tape FNC pilot: Update…
Following up on this from last week, The Chicago Tribune’s Phil Rosenthal has some not so good news…
Here’s hoping Erich “Mancow” Muller (late of WKQX-FM 101.1) and Amy Jacobson (late of WMAQ-Ch. 5) weren’t counting on the pilot they taped last week for Fox News Channel to boost their respective careers. Said a Fox News executive with knowledge of the situation: “The show will never see the light of day.”

Thank you FOX! I’ve seen him as a guest on Hannity & Colmes and he was not good at all.

Great decision by FNC! I was surprised they even let him do another pilot after last year’s Planet Mancow.

Well this IS Mancow, a two-bit, coat-tail riding hack who wanted to be just like his hero Howard Stern but unlike Howard this guy has NO talent. If this God awful TV show would have made it to air, it would have gotten lousy ratings…just like his radio show.

Thank god. Mancow is awful and such a hypocrite. That one week Planet Mancow show he had a few months ago was interesting only in the same way watching a trainwreck might be.

I wonder if he’ll go back to “guesting” on the Playboy channel and dry humping their hosts like he did in the late 90’s and call it a show.

It was a big deal when Mancow got dumped from his flagship in Chicago. The stations management hated him. Sure, they tanked in the ratings since then but hey they got this fool off the air. Mancow’s Morning Madhouse is more like Mancow’s Morning Trash.

Gee, I love Mancow, at least what I have seen of him on Fox and Friends, especially before they ‘watered him down’ this year. I’d watch his show.
